Nostalgia ~ Mina x Reader

"You know when something makes you feel a warm feeling. Something familiar like you've seen it before somewhere in a distant dream the image becomes so vivid and realistic for just a moment and then it's gone. Leaving you feeling warm and happy inside..."
"Nostalgia, that word is nostalgia I believe."

How did I get here into the situation if my dreams with the one I wished for so longingly? I don't quite know. It just happened to work out that way but... every time I see her I feel like I'm going back to the times where things were simple. She gives me a nostalgic feeling.
"Hey, (Y/N), what're you thinkin about?"
"Oh nothing... I just... never mind"
"Okay then, wanna go to the arcade after training?"
"Sure,"
"Cool, just me and you or should we bring Denki, Sero, Bakugou, and Kirishima?"
"Just us this time,"
"Okay, meet me at the gates around 3:00 'kay?"
"Yep," she skipped along down the hall ahead of me and soon enough the day was over. I felt nostalgic going to the arcade. When I was little I used to go all the time but as I got older I had less and less time to spend there until it was almost a once a year trip rather than once a week. 
"Hey (Y/N)! You ready to go?"

"yeah, are we gonna walk or are we taking to subway?"
"We can take the subway, I don't feel like walking after all that training," she says after wiping her forehead,"okay then, let's get going,"
"What's with you being so... so..."
She can't seem to find the right words but I know what she's talking about,"nonchalant?"
"Yeah, that"
I giggle a little as her words replay in my head,'hey, (y/n), you ready to go?' I love everything about her. From her voice to her personality. She's perfect in unconventional ways. But what's perfect to me is different to her. So if I go out and say she's perfect she'll take it differently than I do. I don't think she'd take it in a mean way though...
"(Y/N)? our stop is next! You looked like you were falling asleep!"
"Oh, yeah, I was just thinking,"
"About what?" Her eyes were so fixed on my face it was almost intimidating. Then her question hit me and my face turned bright red,"uh, nothing in particular..." that was an extremely obvious lie,"yeah... sure..." she smirked and grabbed my hand,"we're here!" She practically dragged me out of my seat and ran out of the train with my hand still locked in hers. As soon as we got to the arcade she ran over to MarioKart,"I'm gonna beat you this time no matter how many times I have to try!" Another thing I admire about her, her determination. Needless to say it took her a few tries to beat me but by then other people wanted to play the game so I let her win the last round. I almost never lose MarioKart but I'll do it on purpose for Mina. I don't want to crush her spirit too bad,"Hey, what about the photo booth?"
"Uh, sure, but you're paying,"
"Ugh, fine,"
She reluctantly takes a five dollar bill out of her back pocket and grabs some stupid looking sunglasses,"okay, I'm ready!" She grasped my hand and pulled me inside.
"First one, smile, second one, serious, and third, do whatever,"
"'Kay,"
The photo booth counted down and we smiled our biggest smiled, made our most serious faces and the third... I felt something warm press against my cheek, it took me by surprise. I never saw it coming but when we were done I looked at her. She had her head down but I could see the wide smile crossing her face. 'She just kissed me...!' We walked out of the booth without a word and surely enough when the pictures came out, the third was her kissing my cheek and me. Sitting there with a surprised but pleased face. "I...-"
She was cut off by my lips to hers. I felt her jolt back in shock but give in within a few seconds. I don't know where I mustered the confidence to do that but as soon as I pulled away she smiled the brightest smile I'd ever seen. The smile that lights up my dreams every night as I sleep beside her. Remembering that fateful night when I gained enough confidence to return my feelings.
