Mina X depressed reader ~Without you~

I never felt loved. I never felt special, that is, until she came around. She always made me feel special. Just talking to her made me feel happy, but that never made me hate myself less, it only ever distracted me temporarily. She'd say it made her happy to hang out with me and that she really enjoyed spending tine with me but I always believed she did it out of pity. Who'd want to hang out with me. All I am is a burden. I ruin the mood and make everyone around me sad. "What'cha thinkin' about (Y/N)?" Mina skipped up to me gleefully as always ," Nothing.." I said with a sigh. She knew something was up. She knows me all too well,"I know that's a lie... if there's something wrong you can tell me!" She smiled and gave me a quick hug. "Let's go to my dorm and we can talk there, okay?" She grabbed my hand and speed-walked her way through all the students heading home. It wasn't until we got to her dorm that she let go of my hand,"okay, tell me what's up. I'll know if you're lying so tell me the truth," I sighed in hesitation but I know she'll do everything to support me and it'll end up helping. I took a deep breath and told her everything. How I wasn't good enough for anyone, not even for myself, how every moment of my life I felt the problem would be gone if I wasn't there. How I felt like no one would care if I was gone. She listened to every word, that's when it hit me. She cares. Why would she want to hear about my problems if she didn't? There was a pang of doubt in my voice when I told her she was the only one that cared. She picked up on it. "(Y/N), I really like you. There's no denying that I care about you. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you were gone. Especially if there were something I could do to help. If I can make you feel loved and cared for, just for one second... it makes me happy. I can't be happy if you're not happy with me!" She leaned in and gave me a soft kiss. I didn't resist. I didn't hesitate to return it. I closed my eyes and embraced it. "Wow. Th-thanks..." I was blushing a deep shade of red but in this moment I didn't realize it. She moved in closer and pulled me down to lay on the bed. She snuggled up close to me, her lips almost touching my ears and ever so quietly, so not even those with enhanced hearing could hear, said the words,"I love you, so much. It would kill me if you left, so please, stay here with me," she nuzzled her head in the crook of my neck and fell fast asleep. My decision to stay here is final. As long as she's here with me I'll be happy. She's all I need to feel worthy. Of myself, of my family, of my friends. I never would've been happy if it weren't for her,"thank you..." I whispered in her ears and although I knew she couldn't hear me , I have a feeling that deep down inside, she knows what she did. She knows how grateful I am to have her to light up my life.
