I can't believe he saw it.  Out of all the pages, he just had to stop and look at that one.  Keith thought to himself as he got ready for bed in his dorm room.  The dorm building was in walking distance of the school.  This is where the students stayed for the night.  He was still not over the fact that Lance saw the drawing he made: a picture of him concentrating.  Keith thought he looked cute when he bit his pencil whenever he was focusing, and got the urge to draw it.   God I should not have gone down that hallway.  I would never had bumped into him.  I never would have dropped my drawings.  I never would have caused Lance to land on top of me.  The last thought made Keith blush quite heavily.  He growled in frustration, throwing a punch at the nearest wall.  After doing so, he held his hand to his chest as it throbbed in pain, but he didn't care.  "God McClain.  Why does it have to be you who makes me to feel this way?"

Keith walked up the pathway to the front door of Shiro's house, a cup carrier, that contained three warm drinks, a mocha, cappuccino, and a cup of black coffee, in hand.  He took a deep breath, enjoying the chilly autumn air as he reached the door.

"Hello?" He called, knocking on the door.  There was the sound of footsteps, followed by the sound of the door unlocking.

"Hey Keith!" Shiro greeted excitedly, opening the door and closing it behind the black haired teen.

"Hey Shiro.  Got your Starbucks." Keith took the mocha out of the cardboard cup carrier and handed it to Shiro.

"Thanks." Shiro smiled, taking the drink.  "Oh, Keith, you have a leaf in your hair."

"I do?" He asked, trying to find it in his mullet.  "Where?" Shiro laughed, reaching his hand to the top of Keith's head to get the yellow leaf.

"On top of your head." Shiro answered, taking the leaf to the door.  He opened the door and tossed the leaf out.

"Where's Adam?" Keith asked, walking into the kitchen and placing the carrier down on the dining table.  He walked back into the living and sat his red satchel bag, that held his sketchbook and Adam's present, on the dark brown, sectional couch.

"He wanted to take a walk before you got here.  He should be back anytime." Shiro walked into the kitchen.  "Hey, want to see his cake?  I went to get it this morning." Keith joined him in the kitchen, looking at the cake that was on the counter.  It was a white, round cake that was covered in white buttermilk frosting and read "Happy 29th Birth Adam." It was a simple, one layer cake except for the fact that it had an edible picture of Adam, Shiro, and Keith under the writing.

"This looks really good." Keith licked his lips a small bit.  "Can't wait to eat my face." Shiro shook his head with a laugh.  Keith couldn't help but to join in the laughter.  "So, what did you get Adam?"

"Oh!" Shiro chuckled nervously.  "Well, we've been dating for a few years now, and--" He jogged over to his room, coming back a minute later.  "And I got him this." He held out a black box, and Keith's eyes lit up.

"Wait, is that--?" Keith looked up at Shiro, who was smiling like a child on Christmas day.  When he opened the case, a diamond, vintage ring was revealed.  Keith gasped.  "Oh my god."

"Do you think this is too overboard?" Shiro asked, closing the box and placing it in his front pants pocket.  "Like, should I have gotten him a vacation trip, or tickets to a concert, or...or a lizard!?  He said he loved lizards when we went to the zoo."

"Shiro." Keith placed a hand on his shoulder, stopping his rant.  They were close in height so Keith didn't need to make himself taller.  "This is a wonderful gift.  I'm sure he will love it.  Plus, the other stuff might be considered overboard, too."
