With Trump now impeached, his Vice President, Mike Pence, is temporarily sworn in. His first act of his newfound presidency? Sending every member that is or ever has been a part of the lgbtq+ community to a central conversion camp in the middle of nowhere. A camp that was at first only supposed to last a summer, is now lasting until each camper is fully "healed."

This, as it should, terrifies the vast majority of lgbtq+ members and their families. Nevertheless, without much of a choice, they surrender themselves to the United States government.

Upon the day of arrival a certain closed off and reserved nineteen year old, Lydia Hill, already has suspicions about what exactly is going on at this camp. So, shortly after her first "treatment" she decides that she isn't going to stay and find out what's really happening behind the scenes.

A bubbly and lively eighteen year old at the camp, Ellie Reed, is also a little weary of the camp's intentions. After an unexpected and horrifyingly traumatic experience inside the supervisor's office, she makes up her mind to do whatever she can to free herself of the horrid encampment.

When these two drastically different girls run into each other one night after curfew, they make an unexpected deal. Spending the remainder of the free time they have at camp together, they begin devising a plan to escape. The plan, being tried and tweaked countless times, becomes absolutely flawless.

Except the part where now they aren't just falling in love with the idea of escaping, they're falling in love with each other.
