After setting the dragon priest staff in its place and watching the portal to Soverngard open, we stand at the edge. I pull you into a kiss and smile.
"This is it. No going back. Finish this or die trying."
You nod and frown. My hand rubbing your slightly pregnant belly.
"I won't let anything happen to you... or the baby."
You look up at me and smile kissing me lightly. We steel ourselves.... and take a leap.
We wake up in a foggy plain, the angry roar of a dragon far away. I shake you fully awake before helping you to your feet.
"We need to get going... I can feel him searching the mist." You say while starting to walk down the dirt path.
I nod in response and start to follow you. I watch as you get more and more irritated at the fog and mist.
"LOK VAH KOOR"
I watch as the mist clears, showing more of the path. We eventually find our way to a giant man guarding a bone bridge. I place my hand on your shoulder before stepping forward. After talking to the man, I pull a single sword out and get ready.
I dodge the first blow. My open hand already starting to cast a spell.
"Viz acrux dex"
My speed enhances, though time slows for me. I dash at the giant and start carving. My blade singing through the air as I dodge and dive around his giant axe. I jump over his horizontal swing and as I pass over his hand, I swing my sword and sever his hand. However, his hand just regenerates. He stops me as I land and allows us to cross.
I bow and let my magic die, feeling the world speed up again. I lean on you while we cross the bridge. Sitting at the feasting table and resting.
"Princess... go find those three from the scroll. They can help."
"Ok... you rest... then join us when we leave."
I nod and rest, eating and drinking with the fallen heroes.
