Chapter 10

*Ashe’s POV*

            It was three hours when we all got back to the pack house, when we all got there they were sweaty and tired. I sighed and glared at all of them because they were all out of shape. I told them to go drink something and rest because they would be running again tomorrow. They all groaned except Madison who was staring at me longingly, I glared and walked into the house. When I got inside I ran into Nick I laughed and hugged him, he looked like he wanted to say something so I said, “Is there something you want to say?” He nodded and asked, “Can we go into my or your room?” I nodded and followed him into his room.

*Nick’s POV*

            When we got into my room I sighed and looked at Ashe getting kind of scared. I sighed again and said, “Listen Ashe… I know you like girls but you never told us if you like boys and I wanted to know because… I really like you.” She was quiet for a few minutes and then she looked at me and said, “Really? I’m sorry but I only date girls and I have a mate even though I’m kind of mad her right now but that doesn’t change the fact that I have one, because I haven’t rejected her and I don’t know if I am or not.” My face fell and I sighed and nodded, then I said, “I understand…I just thought I should tell you how I felt.” She nodded and hugged me again and then walked out the room. I sighed and laid down and went to sleep.

*Ashe’s POV*

            I was really shocked that Nick liked me; I sighed and decided to go for a run to clear my mind. I walked out the house and shifted into my wolf and took off. It was about 10 minutes after I had started running when I smelled something that didn’t belong. So I sniffed the air and started walking towards it to see what it was. The scent was getting stronger so I knew I was getting closer, kneeled down behind some bushes and I could see a dirty brown wolf and now that I was closer to it I could smell the scent of rot coming off of it. I almost growled but I stopped myself, I decided to shift and then go out. I shifted and the wolf’s head swung towards me so fast I thought it would get whiplash. I walked out and commanded it to shift, but it growled and got into a fighting stance. I sighed and shifted back into my wolf and got into a fighting stance and then we were circling each other.

*Madison’s POV*

             I was walking around the house looking for Ashe when I found her scent going outside so I followed it and it lead into the woods so I shifted and followed it. A few minutes later I caught the smell of a rogue and I growled and I took off running in the direction Ashe’s scent went. When I finally found her I saw her fighting with the rogue and from the looks of it she was winning. I sat down and watched her fight the wolf and I saw her ran at him and she grabbed hold of his neck and she ripped it apart. My wolf’s mouth dropped so far I felt it hit the floor.

*Ashe’s POV*

            I heard something right after I ripped the throat off the rogue and I turned my head to see a black wolf that looked like Madison’s wolf so I glared at it and walked pass her, flicking her in the face with my tail when I passed. I heard her growl and then I felt her jump on top of me and then she shifted. She glared and said, “Shift.” I did what she said and there we were lying naked in the middle of the woods with her on top of me. I could see approval in her eyes and she smirked and she started kissing my neck making me moan. I growled and pushed her off of me and grabbed her and started kissing her neck making her moan and then she started sucking on my neck more than likely leaving a hickey. I groaned and grabbed her face and kissed her.
