Chapter 22

*Madison's POV*
 

       I got out of the shower and got dressed in a black shirt, white skinny jeans and my black high tops. I dried my hair and teased it a little then went into the kitchen to make me some food. I thought back on how Bri just took Ashe and went somewhere; I growled a little at that thought. I made some cereal because I was too lazy to cook anything and sat down to eat. As I was eating Nicole came in the room and sat down. "Um...hi," I said and I saw her jump a little and she turned towards me and said, "Hi." Then she said, "So I heard you and Ashe were engaged and want kids." I nodded and said, "Yup. I think today I might hold a pack meeting when she gets back." She nodded slowly like she wasn't really paying attention to what I was saying. Then she got up and left me there wondering what had happened.

        I finished my cereal soon after that so I put it away and decided to go for a run; so I walked out the backdoor. Once I was a little ways from the house I shifted; my wolf let out a purr like sound and she asked, "Can I take control?" I let her take control and she took off enjoying the feeling of the wind flowing through her fur and the ground beneath her paws. When we ran for an hour or so before we turned around and headed back to the house; when we got home she gave me control and I shifted back.

        When I walked inside I saw Bri and my beautiful mate were home so I went to find her. I found her in the living room hanging out with Bri, Cameron, Liam, Nick, and Annalise. I walked over to the couch that she sitting on and sat down. "Hola babe," she said while leaning into my side. I grinned and said, "Hey. We're having a pack meeting in 30 minutes." I sent out a mind link to everyone saying, "We're having a pack meeting in 30 minutes outside in the backyard." I heard everyone say, "Okay." So I settled into the couch with Ashe. We sat there watching whatever it was on T.V. until we had to go the meeting.

*3rd person POV*

        Everyone went outside and waited for the rest of the pack to come out. Madison and Ashe were standing in front of everyone holding hands, talking to each other quietly. Finally everyone was ready so Madison started by saying, "Good afternoon everyone. I've called all of you out here to tell you two things. The first thing is me and Ashe have mated and are engaged. The second thing is we are going to adopt a child soon." Everyone clapped and congratulated them. They thanked them and then Madison dismissed everyone.

*Ashe's POV*

        After the meeting Madison pulled me aside and said, "We need to talk about kids." I nodded and we went into her office and she sat down so I sat on top of her desk right in front of her. "So are we going to get a girl or boy," I asked her, she thought about it for a minute then said, "I would like a girl." I nodded and thought for a minute and asked, "How old should she be?" "At least five years old," She answered after a few seconds of thought. I nodded again and then thought for another minute and asked, "Where are we going to get her?" "There's an adoption center in town we can go to in the morning," She told me; I once again nodded and got up and gave her a kiss then walked out of the room.
