Chapter 18

*Ashe's POV*

      After we finished howling I looked around and saw some of our pack members laying there dead. I felt Madison come up beside me and I felt her brush her shoulder against me so I looked at her and she swung her head towards the house telling me to go inside. So I shifted and went inside to take a shower; I washed my hair with my strawberry shampoo and conditioner and washed my body with my body wash and rinsed off and got out. I dried off and wrapped up in my towel and walked to my dresser to get underwear and a bra. With them in my hand I went into my closet to get dressed. I chose a pair of white ripped up skinny jeans with a black shirt and a big yellow smiley face on it. I got dressed and grabbed my black converses and walked out of my room and I passed Madison on my way. She look at me and said, "I'm going to get in the shower and then we are going somewhere. Ok?" I nodded and continued walking into the living room. 

     A few minutes later she came out in a pair of black skinny jeans and a red shirt with a big yellow smiley face on it. I grinned and said, "nice shirt." She grinned and grabbed my hand and pulled me to her car; we drove for about 30 minutes before we pulled into the parking lot for the fair. I grinned and said, "I haven't been to the fair in a long time." Madison grinned and said, "I thought you needed something to take your mind off things and to make you smile" I grinned and thanked her by kissing her cheek. I got out and ran up to her an grabbed her hand and pulled her to the ticket booth thing and she paid for our wristbands and we went inside. I dragged her to the Ferris wheel and she laughed and started walking faster to keep up. 

*Madison's POV*

      I laughed again at Ashe's excitement and I put my free hand into my pocket to make sure the box was still there. I nodded to myself when I felt it and then we got into the ride. She sat in front of me so I winked at her and she stated blushing. I leaned over and pecked her lips causing her to blush harder; when we reached the top the ride stopped to let other people on so I took the box out of my pocket and kneeled in front of her. She looks at me questioningly and then surprise flashed in her eyes when she saw the box in my hand. I opened it to revel and diamond ring and then I said, "Ashe I love you with all my heart and I am so sorry for what I did to you in the past and I want to spend the rest of my life trying to show you how sorry I am...so will you marry me?" I saw tears well up in her eyes while I waited for her answer. She started nodded her head with tears running down her face and then she screamed, “YES!!" I grinned and put the ring on her finger and then pulled her in for a long kiss. When I let her go for air I saw we had stopped again but this time the person was waiting for us to get off so I grinned at him and grabbed Ashe's hand and got off the ride. The rest of the night we spent riding all the rides and playing all the games. When we had done everything we went home
