Chapter 8 ~ Bad Vibes

Naomi Pov*

We are now at the hospital because Lamar got shot in his side. He is ok. The bullet didn't go too deep and it didn't hit any arteries.

I'm still shook. I can't stop shaking. It kept replaying over and over in my head. I couldn't even check my phone from shaking so bad. When my phone lit up, I seen messages from the gang so I knew they are ok. My dad walked over to me and hugged me.

"It's ok baby girl. I got you. I'm gone find out who did this. I'll take you and your sister home" my dad said kissing my forehead.

I nodded and walked to the car with
my dad, Wendy, and Jordyn. And the crazy part of it all is.....Justin didn't even make sure I'm ok.

Marcus Pov*

I'm on my way to the trap so I can figure out who shot up my Naomi's party yesterday. Whoever did it gone pay. They ruined my daughter's birthday and shot my son.

Whoever it is better hope I don't find them.

I pulled up to the trap and walked in. Everyone was doing their job. They know not to fuck up or it's gone be a problem.

"Hey boss what you doing here" my assistant, Jennifer, asked.

"I need y'all to figure out who shot up my daughter's party" I said.

"It might take a minute but not too long" she said.

"Well just work on that. I need that asap" I said walking back downstairs.

I went to make a drink. I grabbed the vodka and mixed it with some peach juice. I sipped on it while I went to play pool.

"Wassup big bro I haven't seen you in a while" my lil brother, Kevin, said dapping me up.

"I know bro. I been laying low since the last job we did" I said.

The last job we did we almost got busted by 12. I sent some rookies to take somebody out but they ass fumbled with the gun. So I had to go handle it myself.

By the time I got there the dude had shot my men and you could hear 12 not too far away. Me and Kevin had to go in, take the dude out, and sneak out through the back. Somehow we managed to sneak back to our car in the front and we got away.

"Yea that was crazy but now you know never send a rookie to do a grown man's job" Kevin said.

"I know I was just testing them to see if that was cut like that and we see how that turned out" I said sipping my drink.

"Yea but you need to recruit some more workers" he said.

"Yea " I said.

"But this time make sure they know how to do they job" he said laughing.

"You a bitch ass nigga for that" I said laughing then my phone started ringing. It was Jennifer.

"Hello" I said.

"Boss I think you should come back. I got some information on the people involved in the drive by" she said.

"I'm still here I'm just in the game room. I'm on my way back up" I said.

"Ok" she said hanging up.

"Ight bro imma fuck witcha later. Gotta go handle some business" I said dapping him up.

"Everything good" he asked.

"Yea imma hit you up later and let you know wassup" I said walking away.

"Ight bro" he said.

As I was heading upstairs, I got a bad feeling about what I was about to find out. I don't know how whoever it was found out where we was unless.....

It was somebody from the inside

I tried to shake the feeling but I couldn't. I made it to her desk and she started telling me the info.

"Ok so from the traffic camera we were able to hack kinda make some face recognitions" she said pausing.

"But what" I asked.

"We didn't catch the person that was over the whole drive by" she paused again. That feeling came back again.

"Were you able to capture anybody face" I asked.

"We were able to catch somebody before he put his mask on" she said.

"Who was it" I asked.

"It was ............"
