Chapter 22 ~ Too Much

Marcus Pov*

I already knew who Brooke was talking about I just didn't tell Naomi yet and I didn't want her to find out this way.

There was a knock on the door and Kim went to get it while Brooke continued talking. We seen somebody pull Kim outside the door.

"Kim...Kim who was at the door" Brooke said looking at the door.

"I knew you're there sweetie come on in" She said putting the gun to Naomi's head.

The person walked in with a gun pointed at Brooke.

"Put the gun down or your little lover or whatever she is to you dies" Brooke said.

After saying that I already knew who it was.

Naomi Pov*

After Brooke told the person to put the gun down, they were just staring at each other with death glares. Eventually the other person put the gun down still not saying a word.

"That's better now go head and take the mask off and show everybody here who you really are" she said.

The person shook their head no making Brooke cock the gun back and put it to my head again. Everybody in the room was looking between me and the masked person.

"How about now" she said.

The person took their mask off revealing himself.

"Kyrie" I questioned shocked.

"T-this doesn't make sense what are you doing" I asked tearing up.

"Nay I-"

"Ohh noo you don't get to tell the story this is my moment. So remember a few minutes ago I told you somebody wanted revenge on your father? Well here he is" Brooke said pointing to Kyrie.

"Marcus killed Kyrie's father 4 yrs ago. Kyrie questioned some of Marcus people, found some old information, and put the pieces together. Marcus this was little boy at the scene that you may or may not have known about" she said looking at him.

"So why are y'all working together" dad asked.

"Because he wants revenge on you and I want you. I was gone make that happen no matter what even if that means killing my bestfriend, well old bestfriend" she said.

"That doesn't make sense how are you going to be with him and Kyrie wants to kill him" Lamar said speaking for the first time tonight.

"Well you see that's a part of my personal plan. To get rid of the planner" she said turning around pointing the gun at Kyrie.

When she looked at him a shot went off making Brooke fall to the ground. We heard thunder and the lights flickered. When we looked for Brooke she was gone.

Kyrie began untying us and he final got to me.

"Nay I'm sorry I didn't-"

"Don't because you knew you knew from the beginning what you was trying to do and you only got close to me to get more information" I said crying.

"That not tr-"

"Get out" I said.

"Nay wait-"

"GET OUT NOW" I yelled.

He walked out of the front door and my mom came to hug me as I cried hard.

I never even knew my feelings for him was this deep until now.

Vanessa Pov*

I wanted to say something to Marcus but I had to comfort my baby first. I know that hurt her because it hurt me hearing everything I heard tonight.

While I hugged Naomi everybody came over except Nick and Marcus.

"Nick you can come over too you're family" I said.

He walked over crying silently. Marcus tried to come over but I shook my head no. He is the reason why we are in this situation now.

"Babies listen I need everyone to go to their room or in one of y'all room while I talk to Nick, ok" I said calmly. They shook their heads and left.

As calm as I was, I was still filled with anger, sympathy, worry, and even remorse for everybody.

After leaving from downstairs, everybody came in my room and just hugged me as I cried again.

"I love y'all so much" I said.

"We love you too" they said crying.

Vanessa Pov*

"Sweetheart I know you may be feeling lost right now but in spite of everything that just happened you are still family. Even though you just found out Marcus is your real father.

Even though you and Lamar became friends a few years ago, you're still family. Even though your mom did this stuff and took off so you may feel like you have no family but we are your family. You're not alone we got you" I said.

He just hugged me and started crying hard. I felt so bad for him.

"I know it's early and I know I'm not your biological mother but I want you to move in with us. We don't know where your mom went and you shouldn't be out there alone" I said.

"Ok I will" he said.

Naomi Pov*

So last week everything unraveled leaving nothing but hurt and another brother. Nick is living with us now in one of our guest bedrooms that will soon be made his own.

Dad is still here but he doesn't sleep with mom he sleep in another room. And Kyrie has been blowing up my phone but I never answer or respond.

I got up from my bed going to check on Nick. Right now we need nothing more but to be there for each other. I knocked on his door waiting for him to say come in.

"Hey brother" I said sitting on his bed.

"Hey sister how you holding up" he said while putting his stuff up.

"That's actually what I came in here to ask you" I said.

"I honestly still feel how I felt that day and it feel like those emotions won't ever go away. So I gotta force them to go away to move on" he said sitting next to me.

"You don't have to force them to go away it takes time. You just found out your real father has been in your face the whole time and you didn't know. Then you mom just up and left.

You cant push these emotions away. You just have to handle it over time. And know that all of us here got you, ok" I said.

"Ok" he said hugging me.

"Alright now come on I'm taking to shopping to fix up your room" I said walking out.

We all gotta look out for each other.
