Chapter 23 ~ Pressure

Naomi Pov*

It's been 2 weeks since the incident and I was mostly worried about Nick. Him and Lamar already felt like brothers so their relationship was the same but they have gotten closer.

I still haven't talked to Kyrie or my dad like I wanted to but I wanted answers. There was no other way of getting them without talking to them.

I got up and walked to my parents room knocking on the door. When I walked in they looked like they were talking about something.

"Should I come back or..." I asked.

"No you're fine sweetheart what's going on" mom said.

"I came in here because I want answers from dad" I said looking for him.

"Alright" he said.

"Why didn't you tell us about having another brother" I asked.

"I- because I- I don't know. When I did that 'in the moment' thin-"

"Nigga don't beat around the bush she ain't dumb. She know you cheated" mom said.

"Well...cheated, I didn't expect her to get pregnant. Hell I thought I strapped up" he said.

"That's not what I asked. I asked why you didn't tell us about him" I said.

"I didn't want y'all to know I cheated. I forced myself to forget about him so I wouldn't have to tell y'all about him" he said.

"But dad that's not your decision to make. Do you know how it feel to have another brother win wew wout there that you didn't know about? No. Do you see how it changed a lot around the house? I guess not. That was wrong dad" I said.

"Ok Nay I see that now. Back then I wasn't thinking of the future I was thinking of the present. You might not understand now but you'll come around" he said as I started walking to the door.

"And Melanie" I turned around.

"Talk to him. Just see what he was up to" he said. I walked out of they room.

Going back to my room Jojo stopped me.

"Hey sis" she said.

"Hey what's wrong" I said.

"Nothing can I talk to you in my room" she said.

"Sure let's go" I said as we walked.

"What's wrong Jojo" Naomi asked.

"I just can't take it no more" Jordyn said.

"What you mean? What's going on" Nay said.

"It's too much" Jojo said.

*Night of the incident*

Kyrie was looking for Brooke when he left Naomi house. He found the d.a running like she was going to get somewhere and she shot.

Kyrie got out of the car while Brooke held the bullet wound. They ended up in a alley pointing their gun at each other.

"I though I told you not to fuck up my plan" Kyrie said.

(This is suppose to be like one of those scenes in a movie where it's two characters saying the same thing, in different places, with different situations. So I'll try not to confuse anyone.)

"You just don't understand. You don't understand- " Brooke.

"How much pain I am in. You dont understand-" Jordyn.

"How I feel everyday having to-" Brooke.

"Act like nothing is wrong with me-" Jordyn.

"Or not having anyone to-" Brooke.

"Talk to about what's going on with me-" Jordyn.

"It is exhausting. And at some point-" Brooke.

"You get tired of it-" Jordyn.

"To where you can't take it no more-" Brooke.

"And it makes you go-" Jordyn.

"Crazy. You feel like-" Brooke.

"No one will understand-" Jordyn.

"Because they won't-" Brooke.

"And I don't expect y'all too-" Jordyn said walking to her dresser pulling out a gun.

"It creates so much emotions-" Brooke.

"That you just can't get rid of" Jordyn.

"Sometimes you feel like-" Brooke.

"There are voices in your head-" Jordyn.

"Then you sit there-" Brooke.

"And wonder-" Jordyn.

"It's either me or them and right now-" Brooke.

"Its them" Jordyn said.

"JOJO NOOO" Naomi said.
