A/N: Sorry it took so long for an update! I was going through a really tough writers block. But no excuses! It's gonna be shortish, though. I'll try to get the next one up in less than a week.

"Lets move!" Lynn's voice echoes through the now empty hallway. When we escaped from the room, we killed the little amount of walkers that were left.

"Alright! Time to get back to where we belong," I say, jogging forward until I'm next to Lynn. With each step I take, the pounding in my head increases. My hair is sticky with blood, but I choose to ignore it. I'm hoping that Herschel can look at it when we get back.

Lynn rests her arm against my shoulders so that I can help her walk. I think she might have twisted her ankle when she fell down the stairs. But she's strong; I haven't heard her complain once, and I've also never seen her cry. She's the type of person you'd want to group up with in during times like this. She's the type of person we're lucky to have.

"I think we cleared out most of the biters in the prison," Lynn says.  Biters. Walkers. All of these names for the dead seem so cruel.

"Yeah," I tell her, "We got a lot of 'em."

"And we're almost back?" She asks hopefully. I remind myself that she hasn't been here for long enough to know her way around. I haven't either, but I have a better idea.

"Yeah, super close."

Lynn's blue hair is ruffled and her clothes are covered in blood. Her black jeans are torn. I must look awful, I think. Not that it matters. Daryl is hardly a reason to be worrying about my looks. Not yet.

"Can we go a little bit faster?" I ask Lynn. In the dark I see the silhouette of her head; she's nodding. I pick up the pace a little bit and she follows my lead. I  try to run my fingers through my dark hair, but am stopped almost immediately because of the blood. Hastily, I wipe my hand on my pants. My eyes feel heavy and I want to lay down and sleep forever...

Suddenly a voice breaks into my thoughts, "Delilah! Delilah, stay put. I'll find ye!"
