I scream and jump away from the cart. Infected can't talk. This isn't right.

"I'm so sorry! I thought... I'm sorry." I exclaim. The girls brown eyes are wide, and her bottom lip is trembling.

"Lynn! Help!" She yells, her eyes still wide.

"It's okay! I won't hurt you." I say as an idea comes into my head. "Cover your ears for a minute." I tell her gently. She complies, and covers her ears. I smile at her to calm her down. She can't be much older then ten.

I raise my gun into the air and fire three shots. BANG! BANG! BANG!

Almost as soon as I do this, a very pretty girl with short blue hair runs over to the little girl.

"Brooke, are you okay?!" The little girl, Brooke, nods. Blue hair goes over to her and lifts her out of the cart. As soon as she has Brooke safe and far away from me, she pulls her gun.

"Tell me who you are or I'll shoot!" I raise my hands, in surrender.

"Who are you?!" She screams.

"Here, just let me give you my weapons." I tell her gently and quietly. I slowly turn around, hand on my knife handle. I shrug off my crossbow, and am about to throw the knife when I see Daryl crouched behind a clothing rack. He puts his finger to his lips. I slowly remove my hand from the knife and he nods. Leaving it in my boot, I turn back around, my hands still high.

"My name is Delilah."

"Why are you here?" She screeches. I glance behind me at Daryl. He is shaking his head. I can't tell her about the prison. What can I say?

"I'm looking for my friends..." Who? "Aubrey and Allie. My sister knew them. I just thought I could get some supplies while I was here." I told her. At least it's half true. Blue's eyes widen.

"Aubrey and Allie?" She asks. I slowly nod my head.

"My sister, Lacey," I close my eyes and take a deep breath before continuing, "She knew them. They were best friends," I say.

"You'd better not be lying, or I will kill you," Blue hair tells me. I glance behind me, expecting to see Daryl crouched there, in that same spot. But he's gone.

"I know," I tell her.

Blue squints her eyes at me. "Are you alone?" She asks. I think of the prison and my new welcoming family.

I almost say no, but then I remember Him. If she's with Him, she could take me to Woodbury. I know that I won't be able to escape again. I nod.

"I think that you are lying."

"W-why?" I ask her, trying to cover up my fear.

"You grabbed baby clothes, dummy." She laughs a cold, heartless laugh. " Let me ask you again. Are. You. Alone?" Her teeth are clenched, and her face is red.

"Yes. I'm, uh, expecting..." I lie. Her dark eyes visibly soften.

"How'd you manage to do that?" Asks Blue.

My expression turns grim, "There are still bad people in the world."

"I hate people," she tells me. "My name is Lynn. Your friends, Allie and Aubrey, they're with me."
