Phoenix POV:
Opening my eyes I'm met with a maze of doors, some white, some black, and some red. Where am I? And what are these doors for? Stepping onwards, I look down to see that I am walking on fire but not just any fire, but a fire of many colors. I bent down watching intently with a great amount of intensity and eagerness as the flames danced. They held power, passion, and devotion all together balled up ready to wreak havoc on what has been allowed them.
Looking back up one black door grabs my interest. Opening it a bright flash of white light blinds me quickly covering my eyes.
“Adonis you imbecile we must go to the council to come to an agreement on what we must do to perish the incoming threat to all of the seven realms,” I had said.
“Mi Reina, we cannot go to them if we are not completely certain of this threat,” Adonis said.
“There have been threats to our kingdom and I the Queen will not have my people fearing for their lives when I can avoid and prevent it from the very beginning,” I said.
I walked as fast as I could out of the room and slammed the door shut knowing that I will never change my mind and he was a persistent man and wouldn’t stop until I caved in. With me not paying attention, as I walked into the room, I had bumped into Cyrus and he immediately started his argument. Another person I have to deal with because of my decisions even though he is my husband, he is very annoying.
“My queen, we cannot put you in hiding just because of this threat. You are not thinking rationally. What about our girls, me, the kingdom, our family? Huh? What are you going to do then!?”
“Cyrus, you think I want to do this? I have no choice and it's what is best for the kingdom until the council does something. They are after me so I will hide. As for our son, you must take care of him while I'm gone and our families as well. Amore Mio I wouldn't do this if there was another way. I love you but it's time now to block my memories and don't give them back until the time comes,” I say to Cyrus.
Cyrus slowly crept towards me and grabbed my waist and laid a hot and needy kiss on my lips. He began stripping me of the dress and him of his casual attire. Leaving me in a lace set of undergarments and Cyrus in his grey briefs.
“This will be our last until it is the time for you to come home, but you will come back to me, I promise to bring you back to us. I love you so much,” Cyrus says to me.
“And I love you more my love,” I say back.
That was all I saw last before darkness once again stole my senses and had taken me away. The next morning I woke up with a panic-filled heart and teary eyes knowing what would happen the second I stepped out of the realm, knowing everything I love and need will be stripped away from me.
Maybe I shouldn't do this, maybe there is another way to do this. These thoughts bombarded my mind the whole way to the throne room and I took comfort in them but also feared what would happen if I let them make my decision. I knew it would hurt but for everything at stake I didn't care.
Entering the throne room I am met with every singke one of my advisors and most importantly my family. They were ready for what had to be done and they would hold the strength that I don't have to keep our kingdom alive.
Stepping towards my advisors, I let them chant and take my memories away little by little knowing this would be the last time I see the for a while. Looking directly at my reasons to live I let one single tear make it's way down my xheek and mouthed my last I love you before my body was lifted into the air and the kast thing I remembered was a searing white light blocking my vision, insisting that I close my eyes.
