Phoenix jolted upright with a thin layer of sweat coating her skin making it damp and hot to the touch. She scanned her old bedroom wondering how she got here in the first place. A curt knock at the door makes Phoenix's head immediately snap toward the door worried for what might come through there. Was it a person from her visions, her family, the guy that keeps coming for her?

Her mind running a million miles a second was causing her breaths to come in short pants and her vision to blur with unshed tears. Grasping her chest right above where the heart was she felt as if someone had their hand around it and was giving it a death squeeze. It wasn't until a cold hand touched her cheek and shoulders that she was able to grasp a little bit more air but still felt constricted.

Looking up through hooded eyes she could see that her mom and dad were trying to get her to relax and were mimicking how to take deep breaths in and out. Phoenix moved her eyes to focus on a moving figure in the corner of her room. She squinted her eyes and willed them to focus on what she was seeing.
She gasped harder than anticipated when she truly saw what the figure was.

It wasn't a human or an earthly being, it was a hellhound. Staring right into my soul and waiting for something. For sure there was nothing I had Phoenix thought. Maybe it wants a bone and once it gets one it's going to go away like a good dog. Phoenix chuckled dryly at this though because she can't believe the things she's seeing now.

Phoenix stayed looking at the hellhound thinking that if she took her eyes off of it he would disappear and surely she didn't want that. Wait why would I want a dog from hell in my room with me anyway? She thought.

Finally, she tore her eyes from the hound and looked at her parents. She could see the uncertainty, uncomfortably, freight, love, pity, and concern. All things she truly didn't want from them. The truth is what she wanted, what she craved, what she needed.

Her dad gave her a glass of water and she took it thankfully and drowned the whole glass as if that was her first drink since being trapped in the Sahara Desert. Clearing her throat she spoke.

“Mom, Dad, why did you lie to me?”

“Love we did not lie to you… you told us not to speak another word of who you were since that day. Right before your husband took you towards your room and took your memories,” her dad said.

“You did what you had to do for your kingdom and for your family so we supported your decision. But we are also not your parents but we are family. I am your aunt and this is your uncle. Your husband had us watch over you here in the human realm,” her aunt said.

“This is all too much to handle right now. I need to go out and get this off my mind,” Phoenix said in an inappropriate clipped tone.

Leaving no room for a discussion she began to stand up and make her way out of her childhood home or so she thought. Going back home in her car, Phoenix kept thinking about the dreams and talk that she has had and all she could think about was getting wasted.

So when she got home she had set her mind to have a good time and just forget. But that is the last thing that will truly happen and she knew that but she kept telling herself that she needed a few hours to let loose then she would worry about her life problems.
Walking into her closet she looked through all her clothes and found one outfit that she knows will draw all attention to herself and that's exactly what she wanted. She decided to go to club Lucifer because it's the best club around.

Cleaning up all her lady parts, she applied her cocoa butter to her skin and put her dress on. Looking in the mirror she was satisfied with how she looked and to add to the look, she put on her black red bottom pumps. As she starts to make her way to the front of her house and to get into the car waiting for her she sees Adonis across the street watching her every move like a hawk.

That's fucking creepy but what's more frightening is the same hellhound she saw in the room with her at her parent's house was standing next to him. She wanted to run over there and get him away from it before he got hurt but she remembered he is another source of where her life started to spiral out of control.

Looking right into his eyes she smirked and got into the car and drove off. Upon arriving at Lucifer's she immediately felt the carefree atmosphere and felt everyone's arousal and lust. As she got closer the bouncer stopped her and she looked at him questioningly.

“Are you Phoenix Ruiz?”

“Yes, I am. What is it to you?”

“There is a VIP booth ready for you on the second floor.”

“May I ask why I'm being given a VIP booth?”

“The boss said so. Enjoy your time.”

That was totally not weird… right? I've never met this so-called boss but hey at least I get VIP. Now it's time to party, she thought. Stepping into the booth she sits down order sex on the beach and watches men's eyes shift to her and lust pool in them. So being the seductress she was, she looked directly in each one of their eyes, licked her lips, smirked then got up and headed for the dancefloor.

During that process, she had already drunk 6 more sex on the beach drinks and was beyond tipsy.
As she reached the dancefloor they played one of her all-time favorite songs Often by the Weekend that always managed to get her in the mood. So moving more in the middle of all the dancing she waved her hips to the music lightly, allowing herself to get lost in the music.

It felt like hours but it was only minutes as she lost herself before a pair of hands gripped her hips and brought her ass flush against them. From what she could tell it was a female and as their bodies moved in sync she tilted her head back so her lips could meet her neck.

God did her lips feel amazing, Phoenix thought. She could stay here forever and wouldn’t mind it either if she never had to deal with the rapidly growing life problems. Fully turning she looked at her and she was absolutely stunning. Before she could go into detail on her looks she felt another pair of hands grab her waist but from the large area they covered on her hips they were from a male.

The song changed to The Hills by the weekend and she turned to look at him and let me say god damn was he a god or what!? Tonight is going to be a long night for sure so best enjoy all of it, right? Oh, how wrong she was.
