Megumin's Lair of Explosionism...
"Megumin! We...I mean 'I' have something I need to talk to you about."
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
"GO AWAY, CHIKAO!!!!" shouted the still-upset Megumin from the inside.
"Told ya she was still pissed," Potion said smugly.
I made a frown at Potion and tried again.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
"Com'on, Megumin...please forgive me," I pleaded. "...I did something for Kazuma as an apology."
At that last few words...
CA-CLICK!
The door unlocked and there were those glowing red eyes peering at us from the slightly opened door.
"Really?" she asked. "My Kazuma?"
"Yes, I brought the Magic Boom flowers back to life," I explained.
The door swung open immediately.
"HUH?!?! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?! EVEN I HAVEN'T FOUND A WAY TO BRING THOSE FLOWERS BACK!!!! HOW IN BELZERG DID YOU POSSIBLY DO THAT?!?!"
I showed her the pouch of blue fertilizer dust.
"That's...extremely rare...how did you even...?"
"I've been looking for blue dust ever since I discovered Kazuma's grave behind the old mansion with the withered Magic Booms. And well, it took a while, but I did find the dust."
Megumin looked at me then to the dust then to me again. She was completely in awe.
"We didn't even make the funeral public. No one knows he's gone besides Aqua, Darkness, Princess Iris, and me. How did you find out he died?"
"Based on your reaction when you threw us out (which was entirely my fault by the way...sorry), I assumed something bad happened. So, I went asking around and discovered Kazuma owned a mansion before which he shared with you guys. They (the police) said I could check it out. But they warned me to leave it as is and not go inside the actual house. It seemed throughout all this time, ever since you guys disappeared, nobody in town wanted to touch the house out of respect for you guys. Anyway, while I was wandering the outer garden by myself. I checked the back and stumbled upon his hidden grave," I explained.
Megumin raised her eyebrows.
"Heh...you really are something. Aren't you, Chikao Oikawa? How lucky you must be."
I felt slightly embarrassed 'cause I had to tell her the truth.
"Actually...hehe...it was my bad luck that helped me to find Kazuma's grave."
Megumin looked surprised.
"When I said 'I stumbled on his grave'. I literally meant that I stumbled. I tripped on a rock and broke my jaw on the headstone. Potion healed me up."
