My name is Chikao Oikawa. I always wanted to become a "normal" high-schooler. Friends, studies, club, and all that.
But I had a condition. I don't know what it was called, but it was like poliosis. Y'know...the condition that makes certain patches of your hair turn white. That one.Mine happened to be a rare accelerated form of that. It wasn't vitiligo, that's for sure.
All my hair turned from black to white. Granting me the name "White-Haired Freak" in school.
I tried to make friends, but everyone seemed scared of me. The guys in my class avoided me. And the girls would laugh whenever they got the chance. I guess I was a freak. It sucked.
That's not the only hardship my hair gifted me. I always had to wear a hood or a hat outdoors because the light would burn my scalp due to my white hair letting in heat and sunshine easier. And when I would take off my hat/hood indoors like in a restaurant, hotel, or the train, people would judge me as either weird or as a delinquent. Lovely isn't it?That was my everyday life.
I thought things would always be the same...till THAT day.
I was walking home from school. I had my hood over my head and my headphones playing some music under that. Just to make my walk home a little bearable, I'd always play Western tracks. I loved the music from G*ardians of the G*laxy. A bit of Cla*ro here and there. I guess it felt nice to escape all things Japanese every once in a while.
Anyway, as I was crossing the street late at night...
'The new P*nic! song is pretty good. Wait, what the he...?!?!"
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I awoke from the darkness to find myself in a spacious room with a domino floor and stars and planets (that looked very real) on the walls and ceilings. The only actual furniture in this space-themed room...were the chair I was currently sitting on. And a big arm-chair right in front of me.
'What on earth just happened?' I wondered.
Soon, the ceiling somehow opened a gap letting light shine over the arm-chair. And from the gap, a young beautiful woman descended in light and glory. She had a young looking face, silver hair which I almost mistook for white, and a headdress of some sort that matched her dress of elegance.
Slowly, she descended and as soon as her feet touched the ground...
