A couple minutes later I heard Justin knocking on the door.
" Hey." I said opening the door.
" Hi." He said.
" Alright c'mon in. We have a lot of work to do." I told him.
" So on number 5 I have no idea how to set up the equations." He said.
" Well the equations would be x= 2y-3 and y=5x+6. So then you would substitute." I told him.
" Ok." He responded.
While he was writing everything I told him down, I was just waiting for the doorbell to ring. My parents went to the grocery store so this would be the perfect time to come.
" Ok so I got-" Justin began to say.
That's when the doorbell rang. I walked slowly to the door imagining who it may be.
" Expecting someone?" Justin said with a weird smile.
I grabbed the doorknob and twisted it slowly. Then when the door finally cracked open I swung it a little harder to see who my mystery man was. There he was in a suit and bow tie. With a single red rose in his hand. He looked so perfect. He is perfect.
" Hi." I said.
" Hey." Jacob responded.
" I wanna tell you your beautiful, in a way that you have not heard before." He began to sing.
I blushed. He sang me a beautiful song.
" Oh my gosh. Jacob." I said.
" What's it called?" I asked.
" I named it words." He said.
" I love it." I told him.
" Thanks." He said.
" Will you be my girlfriend? I know I'm not good with words. And I know I'm not going to be perfect, but will you be my girlfriend?" He said.
I covered my mouth with my hands and smiled. I reached out to give him a hug and he reached for me and lifted me up.
" Yes of course!!" I told him.
We heard clapping coming from inside the house. It was Justin.
" You finally did it Jacob." He said.
" You knew about this?" I asked.
" Of course. Why do you think I was getting all nervous when you were talking about it. I didn't wanna blurt it out." He told me.
I smiled and looked at Jacob. He put the rose in my hair and hugged me.
" Your beautiful." Jacob told me.
