Isabella, his only and last friend possibly was lying somewhere nearly dead. If she was sleeping, maybe he could find her...he stopped and paced a moment. Yes. that's what he would do. If he could inform her, maybe they could work together and maybe, just maybe, he could find out what was happening..how many times had he searched for her though? Countless. No...this was a foolish endeavor, but what if he could find her...what if. He raised his head and brushed back a strand of hair and looked into the darkness and focused.

He thought of Isabella, what she had told him of her dreams. As a dreamwalker he could find anyone's dreams, but if a person told him what they had been dreaming about or what they wanted to dream about, then it made it ten times easier to find them. She had always longed of voyaging across the Great Ultramarine...to be a great captain...no a pirate queen. To rule and own her own ship and her own crew...water rushed into the darkness, swirling in little jetties and bubbles around his feet. He could smell the ocean, and in the distance hear the cry of seagulls as the dawn approached. It was cold, but not frigid. As the sun peeked over the horizon in a golden hue, the city of Valenport rose on the opposite side. The great spiringling towers, and the blue painted plaster sparkled in the golden light. Beneath him, the boards of a merchant ship creaked and the cry of the hardened sailors could be heard in a strange language.

He opened his eyes and surveyed the beautiful ship, the dark wood gleaming and the wine colored sails unfurled like a great stain upon the side. The carving of a dragon, hung proudly on the prow of the ship, it's tongue out treated as if tasting the salt air. And there she was, her hat was sitting jauntily back and her dark hair cascading down her back, one ear peeked out. A giant feather, dark blue satin a cocky angle. Her tail flick back and forth, back and forth.

" hey," she drawled... Seemingly walking past him, her eyes on another man, shining the deck, with a soft yellow sponge. he hurriedly stood up, knocking a gray pail of soapy water across the deck, Isabella just tapped her foot, the liquid crawling ever so slightly toward her, glaring.

" beg your pardon Miss... I mean captain, I was just trying to clean the blood off of the deck from last week's fight..." he stuttered. she rolled her eyes at him.

" I don't care what you were trying to do succeeding and I need this deck Shining, even if that means scrubbing your blood from my deck... Get back to work. I want to see my face shining in it when we reach the port,"

" Isabella?" he asked, stepping in front of her, but she just sidestepped him and continued down the rail. it was as if she could not see him, or was trying not to see him. he followed her down the dark wooden Captain's Quarters. it was lit by a single red lantern, went to and fro, as she walked back and forth pacing the length of the cabin.
