His body spasmed and he could feel his body wet himself but he could not control anything. Everything was burning, his cells were filled with oblivion and bursting. His mind tried to over com it, and he tried to reach out with his magic. He couldn't. He watched her as he silently bent down, her blue eyes ringed in a circle of light, and bloodshot. He could feel her touch his cheek and brush the hair from his face. He couldn't scream, but his mouth would not open. His tongue felt fuzzy and large and cumbersome.
Was he even alive? He couldn't focus, waves of ice and fire swept over him, his spine seemed to shrivel and lock at the same time. Blood ran down from his ears and wetted his hair, he could feel something snap inside of him, but this pain was unrelenting. It felt as if spiders were crawling up his spasming legs and arms. Little pinpricks occupied his mind, perhaps the fire had stopped, but now he could not feel except for the dull pulsating of his heart. He could feel the sweat dripping down his face, and she just stared at him.
"She tried to warn you, Son of Light...you just should have listened," She growled. She reached out her hand and touched his shoulder. "Goodbye Chauncy," She stood and turned, her hair whipped by an unseen force, and her dirty and travel stained dress transforming into a golden dress, seemingly made of fire. Upon her head glowed a silver crown, studded with flames winking in the light.
It seemed like a dream. Demitra whipped open the door and sent her sister flying into the wall, wood splintering. Baelish rushed to Chauncy's side and lifted him up, though he could not talk. Try as he might, blackness flickered into his vision and he sagged against his friend. In the distance a cry rang out in the light of the dying sun. Moments later the roof of the inn was ripped off, the blacked winged demon snarled, smoke curling from its maw,
Thunder cracked and the wind picked up as the two women fought, exchanging blows with their magic. Evelyn's face was twisted into a snarl, and Demitria dodge every attack, sheilidng Baelish and Chauncy as they ducked away. The dragon snapped every time, she got close to the edge of the ins. there were screams from the town people. The air smelled acrid and smoke filled Chauncy's lungs. He retched and Baelish held on to him.
Demitra let out a cry and hit the ground with both fists and a mighty ethereal bear appeared, swirling in green magic. Eveyln, wild eyed backed away, and divided her attacks. She let out a cry and the dragon pounded the air, tearing at her golden dress. Demitria grimmised as she held tightly onto a splintered beam. The bear let out a roar and charged, Evelyn easily dodged the attack and the bear rammed straight into the maw of the wating dragon.
"You'll have to be better than that, sister," Eveyln smiled, revealing her teeth. The wind blue hard and a crack of lightning struck the beam that Demitira had huddled under. She scrambled back. Crack. The huge beam fell, splintering the floor under it's mighty weight. She shook her head and got up, blood trickling down her left eye. She glared at her and raised her hands, bringing into existence blue lines of energy, sending them hurtling toward the red-haired woman. Evelyn held out her arms and absorbed them. She raised herself, hovering in mid ahir and brought her hands up in challenge.
"Release her," demetria screeched and the Mother smiled slowly. The dragon raising up behind her, she was truly a sight to see. She was evil incarnate.
"She's gone. Why don't you ask your precious Balancer what to do?" She smirked and Demitria muttered something under her breath. Eveyln bowed her head at the challenger and raised every piece of the broken wood and sent them flying toward Demitria. She dogged and threw up a blue magic shield, but it was too little two late. Two pieces had loved her her stomach and left shoulder. Baelish let out a scream and dropped Chucky, running over to the body of Demitria. Eveyln smiled and prepared for another attack.
