"Make decisions as family" I mocked "cause that mattered to you before? Let's be honest lumi i know you better than that. You care about family but it's also questionable." I made sure to keep a bit of distance from him as well. Bringing this up to even him could get me killed if he wanted.

"If I'm continuously telling you that we all see you as a member of this family why do you continue to question it? If it bothers you this much come home and marry me. Your the only one making this difficult"
"Difficult because I want a husband who respects me? I didn't know I was asking for much" I crossed my arms and pouted.
Illumi sighed "honestly are all woman this much of a headache? I never pinned you to be someone to give me a hard time. I respect you. I told you plenty of times if you want me to say it infront of machi that I choose you over her a thousand times I'd do it."
"Principal!!! Do you not understand? Yes we had an agreement. I'm still fine with the agreement but what I'm not fine with is you allowing others to humiliate me and publicly disrespect me because of the agreement. I would never allow someone to treat you the way she treats me and if weren't for this job paying so well I would've already killed her. But you know this and know why I can't kill her yet and still do nothing about it. So of course I question where I stand with you. You've never allowed someone to speak foul to me ! As long as we've been friends I seen u cut tongues out for far less over me. And your family would always have your back so I have to watch mine. Going back home doesn't sound like a fix."
"We're going home to speak to father. End of story. Afterward we can continue this game of cat and mouse if you'd like." Illumis face reverted back to Hisokas "we leave in an hour."

"About time you came." I crossed my arms as illumi and I waited for Hisoka.
"Had I known you were waiting for me I would've been here a lot sooner" he smirked.
"Well they didn't suspect anything so we're going to get going." Illumi grabbed my hand only for Hisoka to snatch it away from him so he can kiss my knuckles .
"If your done trying to seduce my wife" illumi snatched my hand back
"Not your wife yet" he smiled. "See you love birds around." He waved and winked my way.
"And you say your the one being disrespected" he rolled his eyes. "Let's go"
"I must say" I bent over and stepped inside his car "jealous you is new. I kind of like it."
"I'm not jealous"
"Oh?" I raised an eyebrow knowing he was completely full of shit. "You've made several remarks tonight that hinted jealousy no need to lie illumi."
"Again. I have nothing to be jealous over. You've been promised to me. You'll end up with me regardless."
"Physically yes... but your losing me emotionally."
"And that matters?" He asked. I wanted to slap him but I think he truly doesn't know. He wasn't taught love and feelings. Silva and kikyo found out the hard way. Maybe they're making him find out the hard way as well.
"More than you know." I sighed.
"Mhm.." he hummed quietly slightly picking up on her possible love interest in hisoka.
