Adler POV
I have been taking care of Kaaya for a couple days and she still hasn't woken up. Luckily, her home is near a river, so I travel through the water with my tentacles. I can walk with my tentacles, but it is extremely hard. I still do it though because for Kaaya, I will do anything. Currently, she is residing on the floor near me, still unconscious while my tentacles are wrapped protectively around her in fear that she might slip away from me.
Each day without her makes me feel like a part of soul is taken away from me. Was I too harsh on her? Did I kill my darling No, it was those villagers! They did this to her! I am definitely getting rid of them now! I am blinded by pure rage and intention when I hear something move to the side. My head snaps to Kaaya's direction. I release my tentacles off of her, not wanting her to feel uncomfortable.
Kaaya POV
I groan lowly. I just had the strangest of dreams. Oh well. Dreams come and go...wait a minute. Adler and that cursed race wasn't a dream? Before I know it, I feel tears build up in my eyes. Adler killed them. He killed them all. This monster is right near me looking at me with concerned eyes. I look away from him.
"Kaaya, darling. You're awake!" Adler says softly, as if to not scare me away. It's too late for that. His arms are about embrace my form before I scoot away from as far as I can.
"Don't touch me! You-you h-horrible monster! You killed them. Don't touch me with your bloodied, tainted hands!" I say with disgust and revulsion in my voice. I see Adler flinch, but I couldn't care less about this murderer!
"I didn't kill them. I had to take care of you. I was here taking care of you for the past couple of days!" He exclaims.
"I want to go back to my village with my family and friends! Take me there now! I want proof that you didn't kill them off!" I am not going easily trust the words of this monster.
I notice a vein on his forehead, indicating that he is really mad. Well, what right does he have to be mad? He didn't lose this ridiculous race and his village isn't in danger!
"Kaaya. You made a deal with me. I am not going to tell you this again. You're mine now. Since, I care very deeply for you, I will give you another choice. If you come with me willingly, I won't kill your whole village, but if you show any refusal, I won't hesitate to kill them off one by one." Adler says slyly. I can't help to notice the bloodlust in his voice as he talks about killing my village. I shiver. I hate him.
"Fine, I will go with you. Just don't hurt my village." I tell him, disgusted at his behavior. For god's sake, I just woke from being unconscious for a couple of days and this what I wake up to.
Adler smiles and claps his hands. Then, he proceeds to hug me which leads me to pushing him away from me. He smile falters, but it still remains. He grabs my hand and leads me to wherever. But, I don't move. Adler's head slowly turns back to look at me, his eyes flashing at my resistance.
"Adler, I just wanted to tell you something. I hate you. I hate you more than Archis, the one who pushed me down a cliff." I look at straight in eyes, every word ringing with truth. I expected a flash of anger or his usual emotionless face, but a look of sorrow crossed over Adler's face. Unfortunately, I don't feel sympathy for my kidnappers so I ignore him and continue to stare him down. He continues to look for a few more seconds before taking my hand and leading me into the dark night.

He dives into a narrow, shallow river. Adler ends up swim-floating while I walk alongside the river on the ground slightly behind him, not wanting to be at the same pace as that monster.
