After tossing and turning nearly all night long Yeji awakened from the deafening sound of her. It took her a second to recollect why she had set up her alarm so early, but then her memory came back. She got up and sat up straight on her bed, rubbing her blurry eyes. Yeji had taken a shower the night before just so her Tae-hee wouldn't hear that I got up so early and become inklined to think she was up to something.

Yeji opened her bedroom door and it screeched so loudly that she had to leave it slightly ajar enough for her body to slide through without make anymore noise. Once out of the door, she then cautiously tiptoed to the bathroom where she could actually go and brush her teeth without making a absolute racket. Once Yeji was finished cleaning her now pearly whites. She progressed to make her way to her wardrobe, slipping back into the somewhat unlocked door. Before she could even open the handles of her wardrobe to choose any random outfit. All of a sudden it started raining cats and dogs outside, the rain was hitting her window loud it was as if the window itself was about to break. Yesterday wasn't even as bad.

Yeji caught a glimpse of the weather as she was now peeing through her curtain blinds. It was a pitiful sight to behold. This would interfere with her master plan. Yeji didn't have time to think, it was either now or never. Personally it didn't bother her though, she was going to take that risk even if it would be a struggle. She took a deep breath in, closed her blinds shut, trying to ignore what was ahead and proceeded to pick out her outfit.

Yeji managed to creep downstairs without awakening Tae-hee for she was still wrapped in a deep sleep . When Yeji went into the kitchen, she opened up every cupboard, desperately trying to find any essential that she would possibly find useful. She quickly removed her notebook from her back to take out her now worn-out list. She snatched everything that she wrote down on the paper, her glasses, the map of the forest, a pocket knife, garlic, bottled water, her phone and a snack. Yeji ruffled around in the lower cabinet searching for the pocket knife. All the clanging of metal on metal was enough to wake up Tae-hee. A loud screech of her bedroom door echoed through the house. You could here her slippers whacking of the wooden floor. Yeji crouched down by the kitchen counter, hidden from Tae-hee's view. Yeji shrudded with fright. There Aunt Tae-hee stood at the top of the staircase in her pink nightgown with her sleeping mask just above her forehead, her hair desiccated like a mad man. "Who's there? Tae-hee yelled. There was a brief pause. Yeji's eyes were going in all different directions not knowing what to do or say. Whilst attempting to alter her footing, Yeji accidentally hits one of the pans and knocks it over. The sound of the pan made Tae-hee jump. "Yeji is that you"? her voice sounded even more agitated."Yes!" Yeji announced instaneuosly that it even flabbergasted her Aunt. Yeji then steadily stood up with a devious smile on her face, Tae-hee appeared to be bemused. "Yeji, what in God's name are you doing at 5:48am in the morning, dressed like you have somewhere to be? She was now deranged with her arms folded. Without saying a word Yeji just swayed side to side innocently. "So what's the deal with you" she argued not falling for Yeji ingenious scheme. The first thought that came to Yeji's mind was to make a lie saying how hungry she was and that she was just about to eat the noodles Tae-hee had made yesterday evening. Tae-hee wasn't buying the her story because  she glanced down at Yeji's back pack hanging over her left shoulder and saw the half full bag slightly revealing the abnormal contents. She raised her eyebrow in suspicion, the garlic had caught her attention. Yeji seemingly notiinhoved all of the items into my backpack and put my phone into my pocket then made my way to the door. I turned the lock on the door and proceeded to leave, trying not to open it to slowly or else the door would make this loud creaky noise. As I left the house I munch on some honey butter chips.

As soon as I got outside my house, I got my map out and put on glasses so I could read it better I then made a start to the forest. The bad thing was that my map wasn't accurate so this was probably going to turn into a guessing game. The old worn out barber shop was now a chemist so at least I knew that. The sun started to rise soon, so I knew was on schedule. I meandered through the rural area of town and finally once I got to the entrance of the forest, my heart was in my throat. I got such an eerie feeling from looking at what was beyond what I could see from where I was standing. I could feel the cold air on my skin, I could hear the whispers of the wind in my ear, I could see the leaves on trees shifting from side to side as the wind was brushing against them. My view was so fogged up from the cold air that I had to wipe the dew off my glasses with my sleeve.

I hesitated to walk through the towering gates but then I remembered everything I needed to know, then I started to think that the letter was just a hoax made by the some idiots. But I stopped those negative thoughts from getting to me.
I reassured myself that everything was true and that someone out there new the truth and that I needed to complete what I truly yearned for which is to know my true past. I've never felt so empowered in my life after saying that to myself.

I scuttled into the forest trying to stay aware of my surrounding, keeping my eyes glued onto the map, and watching my step as I trudged further and further into the unknown. Approximately after 2 hours of wondering around the forest it was now 8:13am. I stopped dead in my tracks and began to become lost in my thoughts and start to think to myself. What was the thing my mother said I need to be prepared for? Then unexpectedly without thinking I took a step forward and tripped over a branch, As I came down on a pile of wet autumn leaves so did my glasses, they fell off and cracked. I laid there in disbelief with my mouth wide open staring right at my now dented glasses trying to make sense of the situation. The feeling of dread crept up in the pit of my stomach for I knew that I couldn't see that well without them and trying to get back in need of them is bound to go heywire. But my problems weren't done just yet because soon things started to go downhill from here.
