Everyone had returned from the beach, and were chatting on the way back to the centre of Radiator Springs. John was walking along with Lin and Shadow, while Lightning and Jesus travelled together.
"What did you think of that 'aloe' guy?" John says curiously, turning to Lin and Shadow.
"Everything he said was bullshit." Shadow replies angrily. "He deserved the death he recieved."
Lin tells Shadow to do his breathing exercises, which he proceeds to do, calming himself.
"Apart from what Shadow said, he was alright."
Slightly further back, Lightning and Jesus are chatting. Jesus seems calm and easy going, but Lightning seems troubled by something.
"Hey, Lightning, what's up? You seem uncomfortable."
Lightning sighs. "You said the world would end 24 hours after we met. We only have 4 hours left."
"I-It'll be okay, Lightning. I always make it okay."
Suddenly, the group is stopped by someone holding a staff.
"Stop, travellers. My name is Alliso-"
She doesn't get to finish her sentence, as Shadow shoots her through the head.
Lin shoots her in the chest with a double-barrelled shotgun.
Lightning runs her over.
John stabs her with a shank.
Jesus resurrects her, just so that everyone else can kill her again.
A bag of beans spill from one of Allison's pockets, and a phone open to Realistic Minecraft: Villager Gives Birth out of the other.
Just to make sure she's dead, the group kick her relentlessly.
"Do you reckon that might have been a little overkill?" Jesus says quietly.
"No." Everyone else says in unison.
"Ok then." Jesus shrugs, not really caring anymore what the rest do.
They continue down the road, until they hear a shaking in the bushes beside them.
Out from the bush: the barrel of a .44 revolver. Aimed at Lin.
A figure steps out, holding a poster with a picture of Adam Sandler and the quote "WHO NEEDS APRIL FOOLS WHEN YOUR WHOLE LIFE'S A JOKE".
"I'm Gianna." The figure says. "And this is the revolution."
Out from the bushes come five brave revolutionaries. They begin to chant: "Lin in the bin, Lin in the bin".
The revolver is pressed against Lin's head. "Any last words, Lin?"
"Nah."
The bullet pierces Lin's brain and they die instantly.
"Mission success." Gianna says, retreating back into the shadows with her allies.
"Well, shit." Shadow says, looking down. "Lin was the best partner I'd ever had."
Jesus resurrects Lin.
Shadow shoots Lin.
"Lin WAS the best partner I'd ever had."
