[tbh just gonna imagine harold's house as the Lux penthouse]

Monday night Louis lingered in the building corridor quite unaware of what the night may hold. The previous evening he'd found Lucifer's phone number in the kitchen and figured it was best to follow the man's orders. Louis tried many times putting his foot down, but considering the slightly alarming words... And anyways, Lucifer did pull him out of potential danger twice.

So there he stood, patiently awaiting another presence to be sent by Lucifer. With no relevant information to mull over Louis couldn't even make assumptions about the oncoming hours. Sure, he knew a few things; a friend would be present, Louis and Lucifer needed to feign an association, and the discussion topic would be... hell. Regardless of those details, it was still such a grey area. It didn't matter what Lucifer said, the boy felt- no, knew- he remained in the dark.

The blue eyed boy huffed- he needed to fill his thoughts with something else.

Louis looked himself over. The boy's appearance was inviting enough to bug Lucifer. He wore a sheer long sleeve shirt and leggings that hugged his bottom half beautifully. If he moved the right way, the tan skin of his stomach would show so pretty and smooth. Louis had on mascara and pink tinted lip gloss, and the cherry on top was a lace choker taut against his neck. It may not have been much, but Louis was determined to make Lucifer's head spin.

Eventually a black vehicle arrived for the boy. It wasn't long he'd been standing there, but there was nothing else to occupy his time so it felt like forever. Quite honestly it would not have clicked in the boys head the car arrived had it not been for the simple "Outside." text from Lucifer. Louis lugged himself and duffel bag into the car with admiration that he refused to show. It looked expensive- Louis wasn't sure what kind- and whoever the driver was clearly had no intentions of communicating with the boy as there was a dark partition separating the driver from passenger, similar to a limousine.

The ride was a short ten minutes- the brisk nature likely to due to the escort's assertive driving. Although the outside world flew past in a blur, Louis did his best to watch surroundings and make checkpoints. Who could blame Louis for being cautious?

The car stopped outside of a tall, lustrous building, and everything about it screamed opulence. There was the main entrance with a door that revolved automatically, and on both sides were glass doors with men employed to simply open them. There were many people entering and exiting, each with their own unique, vibrant style. Even the few dogs Louis saw seemed groomed for perfection.

Sure it was a gorgeous building with impeccable additions, but Louis found comfort in the normality of his life. Working at the diner gave him headaches but could be amusing, his apartment was a warm safe space, and he adored his goofy friend Matt. What was plain to others gave him great joy- not much, but just enough.

"The king's patience dwindles- run along now." A rough voice caught the human off gaurd.

Louis looked back at the partition to finally match the voice with a face, but it was cracked only enough to see the back of a bald head. Louis wasn't too invested in getting an answer. Simply curious.

"The king?" Louis cackled.

"Top floor at the end." He snipped.

"Thank you." Louis said awkwardly and departed the car with his bag.

In a few minutes, Louis stood before a black door away from all the other apartments. He refused to acknowledge the excitement in his head- he didn't want to admit the exhiliration of being around someone he shouldn't.
