Sophie's POV.
It was Biana, Dex, Tam, Linh, and my graduation from Foxfire. Keefe and Fitz had graduated the year before. Fitz's temper had gone spiraling out of control when I broke up with him, he pushed everyone away, including his family. Fitz didn't care about his grades anymore, so those went down, leaving Keefe as the smartest in his year, fulfilling Lord Cassius' wishes, much to Keefe's dismay.
"And the graduating prodigies of this year!" Magnate Leto called, listing the names in alphabetical order. My name was the second of our group. First Dex, then me, and Linh, Tam, and lastly, Biana. "Our smartest and most talented prodigy here is-" he pauses for effect. "Sophie Foster!"
I burst out grinning, and I receive pats on my back from the other prodigies.
"Congrats!" Biana mouths from across the room.
"Thanks" I mouth back.
I push through the crowd to find Edaline and Grady. When I finally spot them, I throw my arms around them in a hug.
They hug me back and Edaline says "I'm so proud of you."
"Good job kiddo," Grady tells me.
"We have a surprise for you." Edaline says. "Stay right here"
"Okay." I say.
They come back with someone behind them. Grady and Edaline move to the side, so I can see who it is.
"Keefe!" I shriek, throwing my arms around him.
"Guess this means you missed me." He responds, wrapping his arms around me. I blush, and hug him tighter. The towers were hard, but not seeing the people outside of them was harder.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him.
"Wellll, Grady and Edaline invited me." He responds with a smirk. "I think that Grady finally warmed up to me."
"I missed you." I say.
"Keefe!" I hear from behind me. I turn and see Biana jogging over With Dex at her side. The two are officially dating now, with a little help from yours truly.
"Why are you here," Dex questions, wrapping an arm around Biana's waist. Keefe's brows furrowed in confusion. Then he must realize.
"Grady and Edaline invited me. Are you two a thing now?" He adds with his trademark smirk.
They both blush, and Biana answers "yes."
"Anything else I should know?" Keefe asks.
"Oh yeah, Tam and Linh are dating." Dex deadpans. Keefe nods, then his face is a mask of horror.
"WHAT?" he exclaims.
"Jkjk. Though it was funny seeing your face." Dex says. Biana and I are dying of laughter.
"We need to find Tam and Linh, speaking of them. Edaline planned a
party." I say.
"We're here!" Linh says, dragging Tam with her. "Let's go!" She adds
