Sophie's POV
Hmmmm, I wonder what I should wear. I guess Biana could help me, but then I wouldn't have any control over what I would be wearing.
I browse through my walk-in closet, looking for something nice, but all I see is working outfits. I sigh, realizing that I will have to go shopping, and that the only person who likes fashion that I know is Biana.
"Show me Biana Vacker," I say, reluctantly. "Hi, Sophie, what do you need?" Biana yells in her normal tone. "I'm going shopping for a dress. Wanna come with me?" I tell her. I brace myself for her reply. "OF COURSE!" She screams.
~~~~A few minutes later~~~~
Biana and I leap to Atlantis, and she starts dragging me, dragging me, to one of the dress shops I see. It is a nice little boutique, like ones in the Forbidden Cities.
"Biana, don't I get to pick dresses?" I ask her, as she starts pulling dresses of racks. "Yeah, but these are for me." She responds. Biana looks busy, so I start to wander off, and look for myself.
I notice that they are arranged by the style, the length, and then, the color. I select a red one that is sparkly on the top, and the skirt part is tulle. It goes down to my knees, but the other option goes to my ankles, and has a halter top style. The one in my hand is strapless, and a bolder shade of red.
"BIANA!" I whisper-yell, "I need help!" She comes out from behind one of the racks of ball gowns holding three dresses. "Which one do you think is better?" I indicated both of the dresses. "That one," she says, pointing at the shorter one. "It fits your hair better, and the longer one is for balls and dances," Biana continues. I shrug, letting Biana do her thing.
We proceed to the counter, where Biana asks the curly-haired lady, "Can I apply for a job here, Mrs. Colbe?" Mrs. Colbe gives her a warm smile, "Of course Miss Vacker," after a pause, she continued, "I was wondering whe you would apply for a job here. You always were quite the little fashionista as a child." She laughed, while Biana gave her a little smirk. I wonder what had happened here.
~~~~~
I arrive home after a couple hours of shopping and, much to my dismay, with armfuls of bags with clothes, shoes, and jewelry.
I walk through my room, once again marveling and hating the sheer size of it. By the time I got to my walk-in closet my arms were cramping so hard. I sorted everything into piles, and put them into their proper place.
"Hey, Flori," I call out, "Can you help me with this?" I wave my arm to the dress that I would be wearing tonight.
"Is that for tonight?" She asks with her lips slightly upturned.
I nod, and continue, "I don't know what I'm supposed to do with it until I'm supposed to get ready." Keefe had said to be ready by 5- "IT'S FOUR O'CLOCK!" I yell.
"No duh," I hear Bo say with a snicker.
I shoot him a glare, "I never asked," I say.I turn my attention back to Flori, "Can you please do my hair?" I beg her. She is the only one here that can do my hair decently.
"And Vertina can help with your makeup," Flori reminds me. "But first you need to put on your dress so you don't mess up your hair.I quickly change into my dress, with Flori helping me zip it up. We walk towards my desk, where my pitiful amount of makeup resides. I turn to Vertina.
"Hi, Vertina," I say as she glitters oto the frame.
"You know, you really do look nice in red. Are you going to finally listen to me?" She asks me, sounding excited.
I nod, then say, "Please keep it somewhat natural, okay?"
"I will," She promises. And proceeded to give me instructions.
