Dekia pulled up to her mamas house and rolled her eyes once she seen Markese sitting outside on the stoop outside of their building smoking a blunt .

She was avoiding going over there for the longest because she didn't know how she was going to react to seeing him and Janae .

She got out of her car and tried to quicklly walk into the house but he came rushing behind her . " Let me talk to you kia " He said causing her to roll her eyes .

" I have nothing to say to you " She said as she turned around to face him .

" You don't have to say anything I just want you to hear me out . I don't want to go into the New Year with you having all this animosity towards me " He said.

" five minutes " She said as she folded her arms across her chest .

" Look I was wrong for not telling you about what went down with Janae and Zo but I honestly wasn't trying to get into the middle of that . She told me not to say anything because she wanted to be the one to tell you so I didn't say shit and eventually I forgot about the shit . " He explained .

" I don't care Markese . Fuck what she said , I would have made sure that you found out . I would have made sure that she told you if the shoe was on the other foot " She said .

" You're right I should've but like I said I forgot about the shit . Be real Kia what was me telling you going to change ? You was still gonna be with the nigga " Markese said .

" I probably would have but atleast I wouldn't have been smiling in Janaes face for years thinking she was a real friend " She said .

" but you would've continued smiling in Zo's face ? " He questioned and she remained quiet. " Look I think it's fucked up how you forgave Zo for all the shit he do but you can't even forgive me ? I didn't do shit he's the one fucked yo bestfriend "

" Zo's family " She mumbled .

" oh my bad . I thought we was like fam too I mean we been tight since elementary but I guess that don't mean shit because i'm not the nigga that was fucking you " he said bluntly .

His feelings were hurt at how Dekia was acting like he never existed . He could admit that he was wrong for not telling her about Zo and Janae but he was so sure that Janae was going to be real and tell her and he really did forget about it .

He just didn't understand how she was willing to throw away eleven years of friendship away with him but was still cool with Zo and Zo was the one who actually did the dirt .

" Don't say it like I don't feel a type of way about us not speaking because I do . I miss you everyday but I feel betrayed . Yeah Zo did me fucked up but I expected that shit from him , not from my two bestfriends . When i found out that you knew I felt like you chose them over me " She admitted letting down her tough girl act .

" Man you my dawg since day one. Fuck Zo and Fuck Janae I became cool with them years later . Like I said I didn't say shit because I really thought Janae was going to tell you and I forgot about the shit a few days later because I had my own shit going on with my grandma passing " He said and she nodded .

" I forgive you , but I can't be cool with her , cordial nothing " Dekia said .

" I don't expect you to " He said .

" Don't keep anymore secrets from me Markese . I wanna know everything " She said .

" everything ? " He asked and she nodded. " ok I love you "
