Dekia stood over the stove in the kitchen preparing dinner while listening to old school jams on pandora . " Why you been here for the last two days ? " Deedy asked Dekia as she walked out of of her bedroom fully dressed .

She could tell by the way she was dressed that she was about to go out to the club causing her to roll her eyes . She didn't think it was cute for her mama to be that old with that many kids going out to the club every other night . To make matters worst sometimes she would be at the same spot as her and sister and their friends .
" I live here " Dekia said sarcastically.
" Don't get smart with me girl , you never come home during the summers for anything so what's wrong , did something happen at Big Zo's house ? " Deedy questioned .
" Nah not really . Leila and Leisha are staying there for the summer and i'm not really feeling it . Leisha got a smart ass mouth and I just decided to come home so it won't result to me putting my hands on her " She explained .
" That is your home babygirl , you've been staying at Lorenzo's house every summer for years so if she's making you feel a way she has to go . Don't let nobody run you from your house " Deedy said .
" I know ma but I don't wanna make pops do that . He promised his best friend he'll look after his daughters and I don't wanna make him go back on his word even tho I know he would for me " Dekia admitted .
Big Zo didn't play about any of them and she knew that if she told him she wanted Leisha gone then she would be gone but she didn't want to cause drama between him and his best friend .
Calvin walked out of the room and she noticed that his outfit color coordinated with hers . Even though she wanted her mama with Big Zo she couldn't lie and say that her and Calvin weren't cute . She knew her mama was just keeping him around because of his money but Calvin really loved Deedy and he worshipped the ground that she walked on .
" Alright baby i'm about to head out , ill see you later love you " Deedy said .
" love you too " Dekia said walking to the door seeing Zo's car pulling up in their driveway . He climbed out of his car carrying bags from the mall causing her to smile . When he made it to the door she stepped aside letting him walk in before closing the door behind him and locking it . " I missed you " she admitted watching him sit the bags on the couch .
It would've looked suspicious if she and Zo both left the house and slept out for a couple of days so he was still at home . " I missed you too , when you coming back home ? " He asked as he lifted her chin and pecked her lips .
" I don't know " she shrugged as she sat on the couch and looked through the bags seeing what he'd brought her .
" You like it ? " He asked even though he knew she did judging by the big smile on her face .
