Three days and Brielle still hadn't received an apology. Three days and that argument was still all that had been on her mind.

In her honest opinion, she thought she deserved some form of an apology, or even an attempt to make contact for that matter.

Work was terrible. It was weird to not have Samantha to talk to and text throughout the day. But there was no way Brielle was going to give in. Samantha was in the wrong and she needed to realize that.

Although, she hated the feeling of knowing that her and her best friend weren't on good terms. And it was all because of Luke. Stupid Luke.

She didn't expect herself to be so defensive against him, but Sam went way out of line. To even compare him to Tyler was a joke. She went too far and brought up Brielle's past in a way that she knew would hurt her. It made her wonder if Michael had said something else about Luke other than the fact that he boxed illegally. She said all those rude things without even knowing Luke.

Brielle tried taking her mind off everything as sit sat in one the booths inside the shop, scrolling on her phone with a smoothie straw in her mouth. The shop hadn't opened yet, so she was the only one in the main "dining" area. Every one else was in the break room, but she decided to stay in the main room as she wasn't really up to conversation.

And of course with her luck, whatever she didn't want was exactly what she was going to get.

She didn't even hear Calum walk over to her and was slightly startled as he sat down in the seat in front of her with a grin on his face.

"Hey, cheese." He greeted with a goofy smile on his face.

Brielle furrowed her eyebrows at him. "Huh?"

"Cheese. Brie cheese. Cause your name's Brielle." Calum still had the same smile on his face as he waited for Brielle's response to his joke.

She snorted. "Good god, that was horrible."

"Nobody's said that to you before?" Calum asked, expecting her to get the joke from the beginning.

"Not since like the seventh grade, when people made jokes like that."

"Okay, Jesus. I get it. It was bad." He raised his hands in the air in his defense as Brielle laughed at him again.

Brielle went back to looking at her phone, which resulted in silence between the two of them. The only sound was the sound of Brielle sipping her smoothie and very faint conversation coming from the break room.

"So what are you doing?" He wondered, breaking the short silence.

"Surfing the interwebs," Brielle stated vaguely as she looked up from her phone to be greeted by Calum's chocolate colored eyes.

"Are you okay? Why aren't you back there with everyone else?"

"I don't know, too many people I guess." She shrugged.

"Aw, okay." He nodded. "They're cool though. I'd think you'd like them."

"How the hell do you know what I like?" Brielle snapped, as she did her best to make her angry expression believable. Of course she was joking but Calum was so gullible and she had to admit she loved taking advantage of it.

"Um..I-I don't know I was-" He tried to explain, although failed to make out words.

"I was just kidding, Calum. You're so gullible it's cute." She interrupted, letting out a small chuckle.

"Why do you always do that?" He exclaimed, jokingly. "You almost convinced me you stole a Chanel bag once."

"How did you know I was just lying and I really did steal it but I realized you weren't okay with it and just lied and said it was mine?" She asked, with an expression on her face that said didn't think about that, did ya?
