Chapter 8

//Rachael's POV//

"What are we going to do?!" Sunny asked mostly to herself, but I still answered.

"We'll have to think of something 'cause I have no damn clue."

She sat down next to me despite my warnings to stay away from each other, glancing over she was looking at her feet. Sunny looked over at me before slowly moving a hand up to my face.

"What are you doing?" Her face flushed in embarrassment a she reeled her hand back, scooting a good foot away.

"I just wanted to know. " She pouted childishly, looking away and normally on a bright day I would be blinded by a certain hair ornament.

"Hey, you're uh... missing something." Her face flashed confusion before she realized, a hand checked to confirm her suspicions.

"Oh, not again." She stood up and I followed after her.

"Again?"

//No One's POV//

"Luffy don't worry about it, women come and go." Sanji told his captain.

"Maybe for you." The teen shot back, to which Zoro led out a laugh, only for the blond to go at the swordsman.

Nami sighed and was about to head in to work on her charts, when her foot bumped something and upon looking down her eyes lit up. Snatching the golden comb from the deck, she bit the end confirming it was real solid gold. A smile came to her face as she held the comb in the air with berry signs in her eyes.

"How much do you think we could get for this? 100,000 berries? 200,000?" The red head knew it could probably go for more, of course she didn't want to tell her crew that.

"You can't sell it Nami!" Luffy's arm stretched out and grabbed the gold comb from her.

"What?! Why not?" She argued, trying to get it back from him.

"Because it's Sunny's and I'm giving it back to her."

"Are you sure you aren't using it as an excuse to see her again?" Usopp pointed out to which Luffy didn't reply, he was already running along the dock.

Zoro noticed and went after him, "I'm going with him to make sure he doesn't get lost."

"If anyone will get lost its you." Sanji mumbled.

"Usopp, you were probably right, I think he's only going to so he can see Rachael one last time." Nami joined in with Usopp, to which they both nodded in agreement.

Zoro had caught up to Luffy, who wasn't even looking where he was going. Grabbing ahold of his collar proved futile as the boys neck stretched.

"Zoro, let go, I gotta find Sunny."

"Jeez calm down, you say that like you'll name a ship after her." The swordsman rolled his eyes as the raven haired teen stopped running and let his neck retract.

"Maybe I will name a ship after her." Luffy considered, looking off in thought.

"I wasn't being serious!" Zoro gave his captain a knock on his head, it didn't do anything but allow Luffy to spot two familiar twins on the beach.

"Sunny!" Luffy ran off, leaving Zoro in his dust. The girls turned their attention towards the two pirates, Sunny's face lighting up while Rachael inwardly groaned.

'I started getting attached to that moss head so I left, now here he is again.' Rachael still smiled despite her inner thoughts.

They watched as Luffy managed to bump into a group of Marines and upon recognizing him, they started to chase after them.

"Shit Luffy, c'mon!" Zoro took the lead and the twins were concerned for their safety at this point.

Soon the four were running away from the group together.

"Why'd you have to drag us into this goose chase?!" Rachael argued as they ran.

"Because of that idiot." Zoro explained, and when glancing over at Luffy he gaped in disbelief.

"L-Luffy!" He had picked up Sunny and started running even faster.

She held her dress down the whole time so no one got a show.

Rachael and Zoro followed close.

'How come I have to run, maybe I wanted to be carried too.' Rachael's thoughts became reality when she felt herself being lifted up by a pair of strong arms.

"H-hey!" She yelped holding her own skirt down.

"You're too slow!" Zoro made up an excuse.

"Well sorry, I have short legs!"

"Just shut your mouth and let me carry you." Rachael's face went flush and she let Zoro carry her back to the ship she just left not too long ago.
