Just why.
Like why does this exist?
One: The age difference
Two: personality difference
Three: apparently these shippers forgot that Snape was obsessed with Lilly
(Yes, it was an obsession, not love. Similar to Bellatrix with Voldemort)
Four: he hated James, and constantly compared the two
Five: Snape was an ass to Harry, to say the least. Because of his hatred for James, he refused to see Harry as Harry, and ignored all of the traits that he got from Lilly. Snape chose to see Harry as the exact same person as James was, and decided that it was perfectly acceptable to socially isolate and publicly humiliate Harry whenever possible.
I can't tell you how many times I wished that he'd meet Lilly's ghost, and she would proceed to beat his greasy ass with a boomstick because he made Harry's life hell.
And I've seen my fair share of Snarry fics.
Some people really do ship it.
Like without a Time Turner.
Okay, so in conclusion, this ship is terrible.
It would be toxic and abusive.
Snape would tear Harry down, and probably wouldn't mind some physical violence. Even if he promised Dumbledore to protect Harry.
I don't know why anyone would ship this. And if a Snarry shipped wants to insult me in the comments, then by all means, go ahead.
I rest my bloody case.
