The next morning was a rush of everyone running around like madmen trying to get everything in order before the buses left at noon.

Personally, I had woken up nearly on top of Addie, however, I had also woken up at 4:45AM. I tried staying in bed and falling back asleep, but when that didn't work, I took to changing into my outfit for the day - a plain black Nike shirt, black jeans, and sock sneakers - and began roaming the halls for what I thought was only a few peaceful minutes. Turns out it had been a few hours as at 10:03AM I got a text from Addie asking where the 'heckity heck' I was.

Bella: Sorry lost track of time. Heading back to the room now.

I shot my quick text to my best friend before making my way up the three flights of stairs to our room which were sharing with Lauren and Demi.

Inside, everyone was packing up the things they had brought with them, well besides Lauren who was brushing through her hair which was pretty wet, presumably from a recent shower.

"There you are," Addie huffed, a look of relief on her face as she linked her arm with mine. "I thought you had been eaten by a Demogorgon."

"You made fun of Bea the other day for knowing what a Demogorgon is, and now you're out here being the biggest hypocrite in the world. Besides, I was just outside, not being eaten."

"Hey, it's what I do best!" Addie stuck her tongue out at me childishly. "Anyway —"

"Anyway, I need to pack," I interrupted Addie with a smirk, unlinking our arms so that I could grab my bag from beside the bed. I was easily able to stuff my pajamas, toiletries, and Tako into the bag, deciding to just carry my blanket instead of trying to fit it as Adelaide the Weirdo had done.

I was so absorbed in packing up all my stuff to make sure that I didn't forget anything in some random city that I would probably never be back to that I didn't even notice everyone had left the hotel room, leaving their keys on the nightstand, until I heard Demi calling my name.

"Hey, Bella, you all packed?"

"Uh, yeah I think so," I nodded, grabbing my bag off the bed and doing a quick once over of the room to make sure I had everything.

"Let's get going then, I think we're the last ones left in the hotel," Demi urged kindly, wrapping her arm, the one that wasn't holding her bag, around my shoulders.

"Addie I'm boreddddd," I whined, throwing myself across her legs, my eyes meeting her brown ones.

Addie chuckled, shifting slightly so that my head was resting on her thigh. "We've been the road for less than an hour Bells," the brunette stated, braiding and unbraiding part of my hair absentmindedly.

"It feels like an eternityyyyyy."

Addie just laughed again, looking back down at the paper she was writing on. "I can't concentrate with you whining like a three-year-old."

"But Addieeeeeee."

"But Bellaaaaaa," Addie mimicked, a small smile tugging at her lips. "Don't you have something else to do? Like, take a nap? Don't think I didn't hear you getting up at 5AM Bella Faye. There's no way you're not tired."
