I am pleased to accept the position of Liaison for the Department of Future Affairs and the Department of the Interior. I will continue to work with the rest of the team until the extraterrestrials have been retrieved and secured. After that point, I will send you another correspondence to update you on the status of the mission.
I will be obtaining a summary of the final report from the time traveller, who will be referred to simply as Foreign Operative in my further communications. There has been a complication that has come up that might impede the overall success of the mission. As such, I would like to request that the department launch an investigation into a group known as "Keepers of the Hours." As soon as additional information about them becomes available, please ensure that it is delivered to me immediately.
I understand that discretion is paramount to the success of the mission and the preservation of public order. As such, in the event of any compromise on the government's involvement, I will destroy all documents and files related to the mission. Furthermore, I am aware that this department and the senior official sponsoring this mission will deny any and all connection to it, as well as its existence.
