Siva’s P.O.V

I was sat at the bench at the park near the hospital when my phone rang. Not looking at the caller ID, I rushed to pick it up.

Me: “Hello???”

Krystal: “Siva!”

Me: “Oh my God, Krystal why didn’t you call me sooner?! I thought you got kidnapped again!” I said, worried.

Krystal: “Seev calm down… I’m um… I’m in Canada…”

WHAT?!

Siva: “CANADA?!” I shouted

Krystal: “Siva, please don’t yell! It wasn’t my fault…” She said quietly.

I immediately felt guilty because she was right, it wasn’t her fault, it was the prick’s fault!

Me: “I’m sorry Krystie. Are you okay? Safe?”

Krystal: “In fact, I am. The reason I didn’t call was because I apparently passed out at the gas station. The guy who works there, Angelo is his name well he took me and stuck with me. He offered for me to stay at his place until someone can get me.” She explained.

Me: “Krystal, you have to be careful! You don’t know, he—“

Krystal: “It’s fine Siva. At first, I didn’t trust him, but we got to know each other. He’s actually a sweet guy and he understands what I’m going through, because the same thing happened to him when he was the same age.”

Me: “Okay. I’m just glad you’re safe! I’m going to book a flight as soon as Nathan gets out of the hospital—“

Oh shit. She wasn’t supposed to know that…

Krystal: “N-Nathan’s in the hospital? W-what happened?”

Me: “He had an asthma attack, but he’s okay now so there’s no need to worry.” I reassured.

She let out a sigh of relief.

Krystal: “When do you think you can come?”

Me: “Maybe tonight. I just got a text from Jay saying Nathan can come home today.”

Krystal: “Siva, don’t rush I’m okay here for now. Take your time and rest!”

Me: “Alright,” I sighed. “Tomorrow. Early in the morning okay?” I said sternly.
