Chapter 17

Ellie's POV

Jai looked as if he could have punched someone right at that moment.

"I FUCKING KNEW IT! HOW FUCKING DARE HE!!" He screamed, making me jump.

"Calm down!" I shouted.

"NO!" He shouted back, storming out of the room.

I followed him, and he was by the front door, ready to leave.

"You're staying here!" He demanded.

"No I'm not!"

"I can't have him hurt you! You're staying and that's final." And with that he stormed out, slamming the front door.

Obviously I wasn't going to listen to him, so I waited a few minutes until I could no longer hear his car, I got in my car and followed him.

I reached Nathan's house, and I could hear screaming coming from inside. Shit.

I got out my car, ran as fast as I could, and barged into the house. Nathan was lying on the floor, whilst Jai was throwing punch after punch at the helpless body laying on the ground.

I stood and watched in shock, not knowing what else to do. I tried to scream, but nothing came out my mouth.

"What do we have here?" I heard a high voice from behind me.

I turned to look. Candy.

"Candy?!" Jai gasped in shock.

"You're hurting my boyfriend!" Candy screamed at Jai.

Boyfriend?! That bitch! So the blonde boy she was kissing in the photo she showed me was Nathan?!

"Jai stop! Why are you doing this?!" She screamed again, but Jai didn't listen and continued to punch Nathan, getting more and more out of breath.

"He hurt Ellie!" Jai shouted at Candy.

Candy looked shocked and confused at the same time.

"Ellie I need you to go! Please!" Jai screamed. I did nothing but obey.

I ran out of the house and drove to the boys house. No one was in. Shit.

I went back home and didn't know what to do, I didn't want to stay on my own but Sienna was out.

I had an idea. I texted my address and waited.

There was a harsh knock on the door. I opened it.

"Clinton!" I smiled.

"Hey El, so what's up?" He asked, looking concerned.

We sat on the sofa and I explained every detail to Clinton.

"Shit Ellie." Clinton said, scratching the back of his neck.

We decided to watch DVDs and just talk for the night.

Clinton's POV

We sat and talked, it was a lot of fun.

"Can I use the bathroom?" I asked Ellie.

"Sure, down the hall, turn left, then right, and it's the third door to your left."

"Thanks." I smiled and got up.

I followed her instructions and locked myself in the bathroom.

I got out my phone.

"I've got her, leave it to me;)"

I scrolled through my contacts trying to find the right one.
