Chapter 3 Lunch Time

The bell was ringing and Andi packed her stuff and was headed to the cafeteria to meet up with Cyrus and Buffy for lunch. Andi entered the Cafeteria looking for where Cyrus and Buffy were sitting.

"Andi!" Cyrus and Buffy called waving, Andi looked and smiled when she saw where her friends were sitting and she walked over to them. As Andi sat down Cyrus used this time to ask them something, "So are you guys coming?" Cyrus asked, Andi and Buffy looked at Cyrus, "To where?" They questioned. "TJ's basketball game" Cyrus smiled telling them, Buffy and Andi smiled, "Of course we'll cheer with you" Buffy assured.

"I'll bring the megaphones" Cyrus cheered as Andi and Buffy smiled, Buffy looked at Andi, "Any luck with Jonah?" Buffy asked. Andi looked at Buffy, "After first period I caught him in the hallway and he looked happier he said hi and that he'll sit with us at lunch" Andi explained.

Cyrus looked and pointed, "There he is" Cyrus stated as Jonah walked over with a tray of food and he smiled as he sat. "Hey Guys" Jonah greeted, "Hey Jonah" Andi, Buffy, and Cyrus greeted back. "So Jonah wanna join us after school at the spoon?" Buffy asked, Jonah looked up and looked at all of them. "Sure" Jonah agreed happily, the crew smiled and Cyrus looked at Jonah, "Any chance you can join us at TJ's basketball game?" Cyrus asked.

"I'm there" Jonah answered smiling, everyone smiled and started to talk about how their days were going.

After several minutes Jonah stood up, "Sorry to cut this short but I need to study but I'll catch you guys at the spoon later" Jonah told the group. "Bye Jonah" The group waved goodbye as they watch Jonah leave.  Buffy then looked at Andi, "Well I guess old Jonah is back" Buffy suggested. "Old Jonah" Cyrus restated confused, "You know happy, smiley, optimistic Jonah" Buffy pointed out.

Andi thought for a moment and looked at Buffy, "You know what Buffy you're right maybe the reason Jonah was acting different this morning was becuase he just had a bad morning but now he's back to normal" Andi stated. Andi looked at Cyrus and Buffy, "Now what's talk about something serious" Andi suggested.

Cyrus and Buffy looked at each other concerned, "So Muffy and Tyrus" Andi metioned smiling, Buffy and Cyrus smiled and laughed. "I do like the sound of that" Cyrus metioned, Buffy smiled, "Maybe" Buffy added. Buffy looked at Andi, "Are you interested in anyone Andi?" Buffy asked curiously.

Andi looked at Buffy surprised, "Nope, and I'll keep it that way for the time being" Andi explained to her friends as they were starting to clean up. Cyrus frowned, "Aw Man, it could of been Jandi" Cyrus commented smiling. Andi looked at Cyrus, "Very Funny Cyrus, but Jonah and I will stay friends" Andi told Cyrus.

Cyrus and Buffy smiled as the three friends walked out of the cafeteria and were on their way to their lockers to grab their stuff again. "So I'll see you guys at the Spoon" Andi commented, Buffy and Cyrus nodded and started to walk away.

Cyrus got up and was on his way to class and he saw Jonah, "Joey B" Cyrus greeted, Jonah looked and smiled. "Hey Cyrus" Jonah greeted as they walked, "Actually Cyrus can I tell you something?" Jonah asked. "Sure Jonah" Cyrus agreed as they went into a more private area.

Jonah looked at Cyrus, "I need someone to talk to but you have to promise not to tell anyone" Jonah explained. Cyrus was hesitant but agreed to help support Jonah, "Thanks Cyrus, you're probably wondering why I acted how I did this morning" Jonah started to explain.

Cyrus nodded, "Well I was going through my phone and I found all the pictures I took with Amber, Andi, and Libby" Jonah explained. "Is that bad?" Cyrus asked, "Well it's not bad or good it just reminded me of the fun I had then, then at the party, Cece reminded me about it and just the past has been on my mind lately" Jonah revealed.

"How come you didnt tell all of us earlier?" Cyrus asked,  Jonah, frowned a little, "Well it's kinda embarrassing and your a guy so you and I can relate better than if I told Andi or Buffy this" Jonah explained.

Cyrus finally understood the entire situation, "Anyway thanks Cyrus that's why I should probably stay away from dating becuase I feel I'll just hurt someone again and I don't want to do that" Jonah explained.

Cyrus put his hand on Jonah's shoulder, "Well all I would say is just trust yourself" Cyrus told Jonah. Jonah smiled and Cyrus and Jonnah did their handshake, "Thanks Cyrus, I'll see you and the others at the spoon later" Jonah stated walking away. Cyrus started walking to class, "Wise words yet again but I should work on my motivation speech for TJ's game later today" Cyrus thought as he contiued to walk to class.
