Chapter 8 Library

Last Time on "The Connection"

"Where is Jonah?" -Buffy 

 "Jonah can't join us for lunch or after school he has some Science and History work to do" -Andi

"WHAT! AGAIN!" -Buffy

"Can we please change the topic" -Andi 

 "Well, we could talk about Cyrus's little dilemma" -Buffy

"He invited me to his house tonight at 6" -Cyrus

-After help from his friends, Cyrus decided to go to TJ's and Andi and Buffy were extremely happy.

Third Person P.O.V

Meanwhile in the Library, Jonah was sitting at a table starting Jacob's homework which would take a long time to finish. "I hate this" Jonah thought as he was looking through some history books for a history report.  Jonah has been in the library since the beginning of Lunch and someone was approaching his table.

"Hey Jonah" TJ greeted and Jonah covered the homework and looked up getting startled, "Woah sorry I scared you" TJ apologized. "It's okay TJ," Jonah told him as he yawned, "Tired?" TJ asked.

"Just a little... anyway why are you here?" Jonah asked putting the books in his bag, "We need to talk" TJ explained sitting down in front of him. Jonah sat back nervous, "You weren't at my game yesterday with Andi, Buffy and Cyrus" TJ stated.

Jonah looked at TJ, "Listen TJ I'm really sorry just lots of homework came up and..." Jonah tried to say quickly. TJ looked confused, "Woah calm down Jonah, I know why Cyrus told me but they asked me to check on you" TJ explained.

Jonah paced himself and cleared his throat, "Yeah I'm fine" Jonah lied, TJ looked at Jonah. "Jonah listen we're your friends and you can talk to us just like how I told you how I felt about Cyrus and I trusted you" TJ explained. Jonah smiled remembering that day, "I remember that I was surprised you told me out of anyone" Jonah mentioned.

TJ smiled, "Well I wasn't ready to come out to my parents, and I couldn't tell Andi, Cyrus, or Buffy so I told you Jonah becuase I trust you" TJ explained. "You didnt judge me, you were so cool about it, why was that?" TJ asked, Jonah smiled. "When I was dating Amber and I hung out with her old high school friends they ridiculed a gay couple and said horrible things at the park" Jonah explained.

"I promised myself I would never do that to anyone... becuase like my parents say love is love it has no labels" Jonah explained. TJ smiled, "Thanks Jonah" TJ thanked, "Don't mention TJ, I owed you one after my panic attack at Cyrus party" Jonah brought up.

"Have you had any recently?" TJ asked, Jonah, shook his head no, "It's been a while since I had one" Jonah told TJ. TJ looked at his phone and he smiled, "That reminds me, your probably wondering why I'm here besides checking on you for Andi, Buffy and Cyrus" TJ asked.

"Yeah, why are you here?" Jonah asked, "I need your help," TJ asked. Jonah looked at TJ curious and TJ showed Jonah the messages about Cyrus and how he was coming to his house at 6. "Congratulations dude" Jonah congratulated to TJ, TJ smiled, "But what do I do? what should I say? What should we do?" TJ asked.

Jonah looked at TJ, "Just be yourself that what Cyrus likes about you, maybe watch a movie but just take it slow and easy" Jonah explained. TJ smiled and got up, "Thanks Jonah" TJ thanked again as they did a small handshake and TJ walked away leaving the Library.

Jonah sighed as he watched TJ leave and before Jonah knew it Jacob and his group of friends were at his table. "Aw, the stupid gay couple is going on a date" Jacob teased, "Jacob I'm doing what you want, don't ruin it for them" Jonah begged.

"Don't worry Beck, as long as you do what I want then they will be fine I was just checking on you" Jacob smiled evilly. "Why do you look upset?" Jonah asked, Jacob, looked at Jonah, "Fine you got me I'm mad" Jacob stated.

Jonah was scared as he looked and saw Jacob and his four other friends, "Your English paper got me a B-" Jacob stated. "That's great...right?" Jonah asked, "No...I wanted a B+" Jacob mentioned as he grabbed Jonah's arm twisting it and Jonah grunted a little as it was hurting him. 

"Next time get me the grade I want" Jacob whispered in Jonah's ear, Jonah nodded begging him to let go and when Jacob let go Jonah saw his arm was bruised and it stung. The four friends laughed and Jacob looked at them, "Let's move, my friend Jonah Beck needs some peace and quiet" Jacob told them as they walked away.

Jonah heard the bell and he got his bag heading to his next class but when he got to the Library door Andi walked in and they bumped into each other dropping each others things.
