A New Experience

Lessons Part 2

     Karuizawa and Ayanokouji finish up their time at the Pallet and are heading out the door. Today was supposed to be their very first date but so far Karuizawa was not enjoying it, so she decided to take this date by the reins and teach Ayanokouji a few lessons on dating. Karuizawa wants to take Ayanokouji to a certain store in Keyaki that she wants to go to and decides to start tutoring Ayanokouji on dating. Though as much as she wants to she does not know much about dating just the general rules and things. Nevertheless, because of the person she is with she wants to try her hardest to make it work because she truly does love Ayanokouji. 

"A-alright, s-so the first rule, I guess, is that the man must be courteous while they are on the date."

"Hmmm... ok so what exactly does that mean?"

"Well ummm like earlier in the cafe' I said that a man should pay for the lady's order as well right?"

"Ok... so something like that?"

"Y-yeah! Something like that."

"Ok, I'll see if I can do that."

     After telling Ayanokouji about the first "rule" to dating they proceed onto the mall that Karuizawa planned on going to. Having arrived Karuizawa's eyes lit up with excitement because it was the same store that her, Matsushita and Shinohara went to. Against his will, Karuizawa dragged Ayanokouji inside the mall. 

"Kei I do not understand why we are here."

"U-uh h-he-h-he we're here so I could teach you somethings about how to be a true gentleman."Kei laughs nervously with a slight blush on her face.

"Ok then," Ayanokouji notices that she blushed and couldn't help but think that it was oddly cute. 

"Well then shall we continue Kiyotaka?"

"Yes of course."

     Karuizawa takes Ayanokouji and goes deeper into the store and takes him to go browse the women's section for clothing. Karuizawa let's go of Ayanokouji's hand and begins to look around. Her eyes lit up with the amount of clothing in the store and she couldn't help but look happy. Like a little dog, she went darting from rack to rack browsing through each of the clothes that were presented. Meanwhile, on the side looking at Karuizawa with confused eyes was Ayanokouji. "What could she be doing here? What would she need to teach me that entails her bringing me to this store? I can not find the reasoning behind her actions," Ayanokouji thought long and hard about why but could not wrack his brain for a solid reason. Time flew by and before he knew it an hour had passed and Karuizawa still had maintained the same amount of excitement like she did when they first came inside. Finally remembering who she came there with she turned to Ayanokouji and apologized and Ayanokouji merely shook his head slightly and said it was ok.

"Sorry I got caught up hehe."

"It's ok."

"Alright, I'll get started on your lesson are you ready?"

"I do not know but I'll try and pay attention."

     With that Karuizawa went back to the racks but this time she did not merely look she took a few clothes with her and went to the dressing rooms and told Ayanokouji to come with her. 

"Wait here," She said 

     Ayanokouji nodded his head in recognition and stood there waiting for Karuizawa. While she was in the dressing room Ayanokouji thought about the upcoming year. "What do I need to do to take down Nagumo? He has support from others which is something I lack. While I do have people supporting me it is not as much as Nagumo and with him being President he also holds more influence than me...ok then I will have to start trying a bit, I must start showing a little bit of my academic and physical prowess, but only a little at a time if I do too much it will seem suspicious but slowly I will start showing my abilities to class D so that I may have their support." Interrupting his thoughts Karuizawa comes back out sporting a new outfit she chose from the racks. 

"So?" Karuizawa asks Ayanokouji

    Ayanokouji stood there with the same face as always and did not at all respond. 

"S-s-stop staring at me like that say something," Karuizawa talks nervously and turns a bit red.

 "What am I supposed to say?" 

     With those words, Karuizawa grew furious and amazed. "How could he not know what to say?! This dunce can't even compliment his girlfriend," Karuizawa thought angrily to herself. She walks up towards Ayanokouji and punches him on his arm.

"Did I do something wrong Kei?"

"OF COURSE YOU DID!"

"What exactly would that be?"

"I stood there waiting for a response but you didn't say anything at all!"

"I apologize I did not know I was supposed to do that."

"What exactly was I supposed to say?"

"Like what you did when you texted me y-you know how you called me c-c-cute..." Karuizawa's face reddens immediately at the thought of how Ayanokouji calling her cute.

Ayanokouji understood what he needed to do now and with it says, "Kei you look cute in that outfit." He tried his hardest to put as much emotion into his words.

     Karuizawa's ears picked up the words that had left Ayanokouji's mouth and immediately her heart shot out of her chest and flew at a hundred miles an hour. She couldn't believe that he said that to her in front of her and in person. She was in a daze after what Ayanokouji had just said and tried to collect herself and her thoughts but could not do so, regardless she still tried to "teach" Ayanokouji.

"G-g-good now f-f-from now on you s-s-should compliment your girlfriend so as to be a gentleman and a b-boyfriend."

"I understand Kei I will from now on." 

     Continuing on Karuizawa tried on a few more outfits to test Ayanokouji and without fail he complimented her. "Mou he really has a way with words this may be his first time but he doesn't just use the same words over and over again and each time he says something I feel like my heart is going to beat out of my chest. It really makes me wonder how much of his abilities he is hiding," Karuizawa said to herself inside the dressing room. She looks back up into the mirror and smiles because now she feels like she is truly happy, to her it now feels like a date and is glad that she gets to spend time alone with Ayanokouji. "I wish for more moments like this in the future with him," Karuizawa says aloud. After maybe half an hour she says to him that they should finish up. As they were putting some of the clothes away out of the blue Ayanokouji offers to pay for some of the clothes that Karuizawa liked.

"Kei would you like me to get some of these for you?"

"W-what? No way! I'm fine Kiyotaka this was just to test you."

"That may be so but it appears that you liked some of those clothes back there and if you really want I could spend some points and get the few that you liked."

     Amazed at how thoughtful Ayanokouji had become she couldn't help but wonder, "Only after a few lessons he seems to grasp what it means to be a gentleman." 

With a huge smile on her face, Karuizawa exclaims, "Sure why not!"

      After choosing the clothes she really wanted they head to exit the store, but as they were about to walk out they run into someone they never thought they would find here...
