A New Experience

The Cherry Blossom (SS)

     {Rewinding a bit back to the events that took place in class D}

     The class had begun and already this young maiden's heart began to flutter. He was always a sight for sore eyes and the one she always thought of whenever she was in distress. He was her hero and the one who she gave her heart to, this maiden being, of course, Airi Sakura. For her, it was always hard to keep a conversation with him because of how introverted she had always been but recently with the help of her friend, Hasebe Haruka, she slowly started to grow out of her shell. One day she was sure to confess her feelings to Ayanokouji and hope to be in a relationship with him, that for her would be a dream come true. Her thoughts were interrupted quickly when Satou came into the room and proceeded to walk over to Ayanokouji. Sakura was never too fond of Satou for she was able to do the things that she could not. 

     Keeping her eye on Satou she followed where she began walking and she ended up in front of Ayanokouji. "What could Satou want from Kiyotaka?" she thought and that's when she heard the proposition that Satou offered to Ayanokouji and quickly her heart sank. She felt her body start to shake and tried her hardest to calm down. Quickly she went into a state of panic, but could not turn her ears away from the conversation they were having. "H-h-hehe there's no way Kiyotaka would accept right?" Sakura tried to reassure herself but soon found out that was not true. Upon hearing that he would agree she started to feel her chances with him slip away. Her thoughts interrupted by the bell signaling the start of class.

     It was hard for the maiden to focus in class and all she could think about what was going to happen tomorrow. Thankfully for her class flew by and they were quickly dismissed. She left the room shaken up and her friend Hasebe noticed and decided to follow her. Once they were alone Hasebe asked Sakura what was troubling her

"Stop it Haruka you already know what it is I'm thinking about..."

"Yeah I know but ya know I might as well ask hehe."

"Well, what are you gonna do now?"

"I-I don't know I was hoping that you could help me out."

"Well you could always ya know, simply ask Kiyopon yourself why he chose to accept," Hasebe responds with a smile.

"N-no I couldn't do that. It would be too embarrassing to ask."

"Jeez, Airi you're so helpless," Hasebe says with a sigh.

"Well actually how about tailing him tomorrow for his date?"

"W-what no! That's not a very good idea!"

"Well if you don't do SOMETHING the guy you like is going to get stolen from you..."

With that statement, Sakura felt a surge of confidence and says, "Fine I'll try and follow him tomorrow and see what they do."

"See? I know you can do it Airi you got this!"

"Alright, tomorrow then I'll try."

"That's it Airi! Anyways wanna go get something to eat before we head back to the dorms?"

"U-um no thank you, I appreciate the offer but I'm still trying to recover from what happened earlier so if you don't mind I'll head back first."

"That's fine see ya tomorrow then Airi."

Finishing their conversation the two head their separate ways.

(As depicted in the title this is one of the short stories for my fanfic so obviously it's not as long as my usual stories but nonetheless I hope you enjoyed it!)

Side note: It was kind of a bother to think of Sakura's responses because of how introverted and shy she was, so I was thinking hard about how to make her responses sound timid xD hopefully I pulled that off.
