A New Experience

RESEARCH!

     Finally, the time that every student at ANHS had been waiting for... a 3 day weekend! This would be the first break the 2nd years would have. It had been a tough first few weeks for them and thankfully they were given a little break. Apparently it was so that they could have time to prepare for another special exam that the school would give to them, so the students were determined to enjoy themselves while they could. Everyone was preparing for the break while a certain boy had some 'research' to do.

     The dawn of a new day had come upon Ayanokouji and as usual, he was up early, he usually tends to wake up around 6. He gets his routine out of the way which consists of a little jog around the campus, then goes back to his room to shower and then get into a change of clothes. Since he was an absolute amateur at love he didn't actually how he could "learn" to get better. He would ask Karuizawa, but he thinks that he has already asked so much of her so he thought that he should find a way with his own strength, but it was already proving tough for him. So with the method, he was most familiar with he decides to head over to the library to study. 

     The atmosphere early in the mornings was ideal for Ayanokouji it was quiet, with the occasional students outside exercising but mainly being the athletes, wildlife all around and such. Since he was also by himself he could take time to just let his thoughts flow without any disturbances. Before he knew it he had arrived at the library, and he instantly began searching. While he was looking around the few students in the library that were with him acknowledged his presence and with surprised eyes recognized who he was.

"W-woah, t-thats the 2nd year who got 100 on the end of year test."

"Y-yeah t-that is him isn't it?"

"He doesn't look that impressive though."

"Keep quiet! He was also the guy who almost outpaced Manabu at the sports festa! So he must be athletic too. We can't judge him on his looks."

Ayanokouji heard the three students talking and looked over at them. Their eyes met but they quickly glanced away and made some distance between them, "Sometimes I question why I had done that, but it is already too late to turn back," Ayanokouji quietly spoke to himself. 

     He then resumed looking for books that could help his dilemma. It took him a few minutes before he could find what he was looking for but they were mostly magazines and short books. The likes of being:

"Relationship 101"

"For those new couples!"

"Love for idiots!"

"Relationships tips and advice!"

     Quite frankly he thought that the pieces of work he was looking at were stupid but he knew that they at least must contain some sort of advice that could help him. Trying to push his WR mentality to the side he began reading. It was hard for him to understand many of the things that were described in the books and by the end, he was even more confused than when he had begun.

"This is a lot more difficult then I thought," he says.

"I wonder if there might be anyone willing to help me."

     As is God himself was listening a certain someone appeared behind Ayanokouji

"Ah Hiyori ho-"

"A-ah I-I'm s-sorry Kiyotaka it s-seems you're a b-bit busy right now! I'll excuse myself!"

     Not knowing her reason for leaving he looks back down at the table where he was sitting and a thought entered his head, "Ah I see, she must have left because I have these books in front of me. Regardless I must not let her leave because she may be able to help me."
