Stop the Hate: Team Joey!

You Guys

Hey I want to hear from you guys reading this. I think if Joey and the band ever read this they don't just want to hear from me. This chapter is from you guys. I want ONLY nice things about them. It is not based on the solo, but based on them in general. When I see something nice being said, I will put it here. I hear also stories of how we were saved by this incredible band.

No they are much more than a band.

They saved many of our lives! They are our superheroes! To some they might be just a band and the music is just lyrics, notes are just another beat, but Anthem Lights is different they make every beat count to Follow Your Heart!

(I might leave out the opinions of I can guys if you don't mind, but I'm putting the encouragement up)

"I just moved away from my friends for my parents' work. Actually it was across the Atlantic Ocean. I was missing my friends. One day, I was in the car, thinking about my friends, and an Anthem Lights cover (I had already known and loved them, I just wasn't a Lightbulb) of 'Don't You Worry Child' came on. I had forgotten how much I had loved this band! When I got home, I looked them up, and two hours later, I knew everything about them and I was a Lightbulb. They give me the feeling that I'm closer to my friends. I found them through the 2012 mashup."

I found Anthem Lights on Pandora their 2012 Mashup and I always wanted to hear that song finally I decided to look them up I found some of their originals and fell in love with it as well they helped me when my parents divorced and my dad had brought in someone else, his gf so they helped me go through this rough time. So that's how I became obsessed with them and became a Lightbulb."

"Anthem Lights has been very bold in what they've done lately. So many Christian artists and bands stay in a certain mold, or a "box" of what they sing. They speak to the people who are solely Christians, and that's wonderful! But we are also called out to reach to the people who don't know the Lord. You never know what a simple cover might do, and I applaud the Anthem Lights guys for attempting to reach out to others. And you know what? Jesus didn't just stay with the Christians either; He WAS with them, of course, but He also went to be and speak to the broken and hurting, and those who did not believe... I was actually looking up One Direction covers and that's how I found Anthem Lights, and then I found more about the band and their music helped me grow closer to God. I wanna say something too! (I can do that right?)

I am proud of Anthem Lights and every single cover they do. When a person that doesn't know what to do (most of the time like people like me) turn their music on. You either listen on radio or look it up on the Internet. Admit it when you are online you work on school stuff and end up looking at how animals eat their food. Along the way what if they decide to look up one of their favorite songs? They come across a very interesting cover. That cover is amazing!!! You know who that band is that they heard. They are four good looking guys singing to some random cover. What if that cover is just one good looking guy? He mentions that he is a band and the person suddenly goes "wait there is more people like him?" The person looks the band up and then later discovers one of the most awesomeness things ever!!! This band is CHRISTIAN!! They are not only amazing singers, ( and handsome), but CHRISTIANS too!! There must be a reason.....
