Alarm bells immediently rang in Bella's head.
Kyle? Kyle??? You mean the boy on the left. The kid who looked really gothy and had raven hair. That guy? Oh lord.

Bella never actually considered that boys usually go for girls and girls usually go for boys. In her head it was girl and girl and has always been that way throughout her life. She was realising again that most people are actually straight. Gay and honest mistake.

She was just about to end it before it even began. Bella was used to turning people down gently so it didn't come as much as a shock. Although, when she started to speak the boy he spoke too, and it turns out that he was well, kind of a friendly guy. And before Bella could realise what she was doing, she found herself sitting with his friends and talking to him. Just him, as if they were mates. Then they were all alone together at the bar. Then they were paying and leaving together.

Don't get me wrong, Bella felt nothing towards this guy. He was just so interesting and such a compelling person to talk to. She hoped that they could just be friends. She thought it be best to not bring up the subject until it was deemed necessary. That way there was a chance of avoiding it altogether, even if it could be slim.

"Ok so this is one of my favourite places." She heard his voice, bursting with excitement, over the blackness she could see in her covered eyes. Kyle moved his hands away and Bella's eyes adjusted to the darkness. She knew what this place was: it was the harbour. God, they must've walked a long way. Time flys by when you're having fun.

Bella sat on a freezed over metal pole that rested on the pebbled sand. Almost immediately, her teeth began to chatter furiously. Bella tried to contain herself but her coldness still showed itself. Kyle offered his coat and draped it around her shoulders. He was so kind to her, she thought.

"Wow Kyle, this has been one of the funniest nights of my life. You one of the nicest people I've ever met."

He smiled and looked down, "Aw thanks Bella." She was certain that she would make a friend that night. A really good one. Well, that's what she wanted. Inside she did. But she didn't realise what would happen. Bella didn't see what had been waving above her nose the whole time.

There in that minute Kyle said he had something for Bella. Her face lit up as she thought it was another sweet gesture. Not quite. Kyle leaned over and kissed Bella. Unexpectedly, without warning, right on the lips. Bella lurched back, eyes popping wide and all muscles in her face tensed.

She didn't mean to. Granted, Bella was a big girl with strong arms but she shoved Kyle away. How could she have not realised? It was her ignorance again. Kyle had assumed she was straight. Most people did because it's common. She scolded herself on the nonchalant ways and how she handled this situation. Shewas supposed to act maturely and now she felt she was the equivalent to a seven year old.

Kyle just reeled back at what just happened. He looked Bella right into her eyes with his bewildered ones and merely said,

"What are you doing?"

Bella sighed deeply. Existance is something which is sometimes painful. Well, might as well rip the plaster off if she'd come this far. She told him everything, the whole lesbian thing, qland as she spoke the more she felt calmer. She felt more as if she had worked herself up for nothing. It was all in her head. I mean no one nowadays could really be disrespectful for something as small as that. Although there was that one time for her, but that was different. Maybe this time would be-

"Why didn't you tell me that you stupid bitch? I would be never blown my money and time into getting you a drink and asking you out. Hope you happy our night is ruined."

I don't want to say I was shocked by that. I mean, I was, but I have to have saw it coming. Even if it only was a small thought that might've placed itself in my head. And Bella thought exactly the same.

A.N
Yeah I know, it's been a long time.
