Chapter 11

Kits POV
Once we got home Sam went upstairs and I told Paddy that Luke was coming to watch the movie with us. He was fine with it and before I could even ask he said he wouldn't tell the others. I smiled as I left his room and went back to mine to take a nap.

I woke up to Sam shaking me at about 6 telling me dinner was ready so I went downstairs and we ate. Everyone asked about the music video and asked how it went and I was so excited to talk about it but made sure not to bring up the kiss. Although I planned on telling mum before Luke got here.

*after dinner*
"Hey mum can I talk to you?" I ask entering the kitchen. "Of course hun what's up?" "Well you know how Luke's coming over tonight?" I ask. "Yeah what about it?" "Well...umm... he kissed me after the video... and I kinda liked it and I think I like him" I say nervously. "Darling that's great! Luke's a nice boy and I'm glad that you like him. Ryan was never the right fit" she says walking over to pull me into a hug. "BUT PLEASE DONT TELL THE BOYS!!! Sam knows but he promised not to tell the others... ESPECIALLY TOM!!!" I say whisper yelling. "I won't tell anyone and what's going on between you and Tom you were really close while he was here and now it's like you both hate each other" mum says sadly. "I don't know it's just hard when he's always leaving and Harry and Sam always go with him but I can't because of school so I barely see him and I'm never home when he calls" I say moving to sit on her bed. She comes and sit nexts to me. "I know but filming finished a couple of days ago so he should be home within the next few days" she says smiling. "Yeah I guess I am pretty excited... I miss him" I say smiling. "Even I'd be is an idiot" I add laughing. "You have a point... but you need to go get ready!" Mum yells excitedly. I walk out laughing and go get ready.

I messaged Luke to say to come casual because I was just wearing trackies and a Shawn Mendes t shirt that I got at his concert. He sent back a smiley face and an ok and said he would. I decided to have a quick shower and when I got out I got dressed and then heard a knock on the door. I walked downstairs and saw Luke talking to my mum. I smiled and walked over. "Hey!" He says once he says me and he pulls me into a hug... damn he gives nice hugs far out. "What movie are you guys gonna watch?" Mum asks smiling at us both. "What do you wanna watch?" I ask looking up at him still hugging him. "How about..." "and do not say something with any of my brothers in it" I say laughing making him and my mum laugh. "Damn there goes my options" he says sarcastically. "Nah how about we let Paddy choose?" Luke asks looking down at me. "Sounds good" I say smiling. Luke looks at me funny and his eyes dart between me and my mum a few times before I realise what he's doing. "OH RIGHT! She knows I told her" I say laughing. "Don't worry you're a good kid and you don't bug me" mum says laughing. Luke and I both laugh before she leaves the room and he pecks my lips. Luke walks into the lounge room and I call Paddy to come downstairs. Paddy follows behind me saying hi to Luke before sitting down and scrolling throw Disney Plus to pick a movie. He ended up choosing '10 things I hate about you' which I was happy about because it's one of my favourites. I snuggle into Luke's side and he pulls me closer and we hear an "aww" come from Paddy making us both stifle laugh. But of course not all good things last because 10 minutes into the movie I see Sam and Harry running towards us. "Oh for fuck sakes" I mumbled under my breath. Harry sits besides me and Sam sits besides Luke. This is not awkward at all BUT at least they didn't sit between the two of us.

But of course I spoke to soon because the second after I thought that Harrison walked in and sat right between me and Luke pushing both of us to the side. "KIT LONG TIME NO SEE!" He says excitedly pulling me into a hug. I pull away and stare at him. "Harrison?" "Hmm" "What the hell are you doing here?" I ask confused. "Watching a movie what does it look like?" He states. And then it hits me. "SAM! YOU PROMISED!" I yell at him. "Yes but I didn't pinky promise so really it meant nothing" he says matter of factly. "Seriously" "yes now watch the movie" I slump back and look at Luke mouthing am I'm sorry. He laughs quietly mouthing back an it's ok. We watch the rest of the movie laughing at the funny parts and awing at the cute parts. Once it's finished Luke gets his things and we head to the door. I close the front door so that the boys won't watch and annoy us. "That was interesting" Luke says once the door shuts. I laugh gently "sorry about them, I don't even know when Harrison got home he's supposed to coming home with Tom" I say both of us laughing. "Just be glad Tom wasn't here because that would have just been ugh" I say laughing even more. Luke laughs before trying to speak. "When Harrison came out of nowhere you should have seen your face!! AHAHAHAHA" Luke says dying of laughter. "Yeah well next time let's go to your place" I say between laughs. We both slowly stop laughing and look at each other before leaning in. It started as a small kiss but turned into a small make out. We pull away and smile at each other before he speaks up. "I'll call you tomorrow and then I'll see you at school on Monday" he says smiling before turning around. "Sounds good" I say before turning to go back inside. But of course I walk in and am faced with the boys and of course they all start asking questions but thankfully mum comes into the room telling them to go to bed. I thank her before hugging her and walking upstairs to go to bed.

After trying to sleep for a while I decide to message Tom.

Hey Kit what's up?

I told Tom about Luke and surprisingly he was fine about it and said that he liked Luke more than Ryan which wasn't surprising. He said he'll be home in a few days and then won't have to leave for a while which made me smile. We spoke for a while and then said goodnight and I drifted off to sleep.
