Mokuton no Naruto

Chapter 7: The Genin Exam of Team 7

 Asuma says, "All you have to do in order to pass this test is capture me. If any of you fail, you will be sent back to the Academy."

Shikamaru asks, "Is their a time limit?"

Asuma nodded, and answers, "Yes their is. You have to capture me by the end of the day. Now... GO!"

Naruto then goes through a string of hand seals. Tiger → Dog → Snake →Dragon. He yells, "Mokuton: Foo Dogs o Kōgeki Suru (Attack Foo Dogs)!" Naruto then creates a series of wooden pillars, which are engraved with what resemble foo dog faces. Which shoots towards Asuma, attempting to capture, and drain his chakra.

As Asuma dodges the foo dogs, Shikamaru attempts to get him with his shadow. Which again, Asuma dodges. Choji then does some hand seals. Ram → Special Seal. He yells, "Baika no Jutsu(Multi-Size Technique)!" The Akimichi grows super round.

He then yells, "Nikudan Sensha (Human Bullet Tank)!" Choji then tucks himself into a ball, and rolls fast straight towards their Sensei.

As Choji speeds over Asuma, he returns to his normal size, and sees only a shattered log. Seeing Asuma missing, Naruto does a single hand seal. The Uzumaki yells, "Tajū Mokuton Bunshin no Jutsu (Multiple Wood Clone Technique)!" Then from the ground fifty wooden Naruto's appear, which then turn to flesh. The two then watch as all fifty clones sink back into the ground.

Shikamaru asks, "What good did that do? Ya know to cancel the jutsu right after casting it?"

Naruto answers, "I didn't cancel the jutsu, I just used a different one that that allows whoever uses it to phase through their surroundings, allowing them to quickly avoid an incoming attack and can travel undetected as well."

Choji says, "That is some jutsu you know."

Naruto replies, "It is. Do you want to experience it?"

Shikamaru answers, "It would be too troublesome, so no."

This when the three students are covered in a cloud of ash, and gunpowder. This is when Naruto says, "Well too bad Shika, cause you, and Choji both are going to experience using it." He then grabs onto their shoulders, and then sinks into the ground. Just after that, the cloud explodes in a fiery explosion.

When the explosion dies down, Team 7 returns bak above the ground. They then hear their sensei, who says, "Katon: Haisekishō (Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning)!"

Shikamaru, while puking, says, "That was indeed troublesome, you troublesome blonde!"

Choji, who is also puking, says, "What Shikamaru said, Naruto."

Naruto's wood clones then gather near Asuma. The blonde then goes through some hand seals. Tiger → Horse → Tiger → Snake → Tiger. Naruto yells, "Mokuton: Daijurin Shutsugen no Jutsu (Wood Release: Great Forest Emergence Technique)!" using the clones, which turn back into tree. Trees then erupt around Asuma, who disappears into a puff of smoke, revealing a log.

Naruto then says, "Sorry about that Shika, Choji. The more you use it, the more you get used to it."

The Uzumaki turns to see Asuma, finish a string of hand seals. Horse → Monkey → Bird. He yells, "Fūton: Fūjin no Jutsu (Wind Release: Dust Cloud Technique)!" Through horizontally overlapped hands that are placed in front of Asuma's mouth, a stream of high-velocity wind containing dust particles shoots out of their Sensei's mouth.

Naruto then goes through a set of his own hand seals. Rat → Dog → Tiger →Dog → Rat. He yells, "Mokuton: Mokusei Rokkudōmu (Wood Release: Wooden Locking Dome)!" Wood emerges from the ground, forming an interlocking dome around the three Genin. The dust cloud then hits the dome, and dispels.
