Chapter 1: The Energy Reading

Within SPD, in New Tech City, the leading Doctor and Scientist Kat Manks was going over the scanners when a red dot appeared

"Commander a red dot, just appeared on the scanner, it's a ranger reading sir," says Kat.

"Call the B-Squad immediately," says Commander Cruger.

"I'm on it sir," says Kat.

Kat calls the B-Squad to the command center, where Commander Cruger says, "Cadets, we've picked up another ranger energy reading. It's coming from the city."

"Sir, with all due respect I'm not ready for another ranger on our team," says Sky.

"Cadet Tate, that's enough," says Commander Cruger.

"Yes sir," says Sky.

Next thing you know, the alarms go off.

"Sir, its Broodwing," says Kat.

"Go Rangers," says Commander Cruger.

Sky, Sydney, Z, and Bridge morph into their ranger forms. When Z and Sydney hop into the SPD jeep, Sky and Bridge get onto their motorcycles. When they arrive at Broodwing's location to see him holding a teenage girl by the neck.

"Let her go Broodwing," says Z.

"If you don't release her, we'll destroy you once and for all," says Sky.

"Fine rangers, but this isn't the end," says Broodwing as he drops the teenage girl on the ground.

Broodwing then flies off leaving the rangers in his dust.

Back on the ground, Z, Sydney, Bridge, and Sky demorph and they run up to the unconscious teenager.

"Lets get her back to the base," says Z.

Sky has Z take his motorcycle back to the base as Sky carries the unconscious girl back to SPD, where Kat sees Sky bringing her to the infirmary.

"Kat is this, the girl you picked up on radar?" asks Sky.

"Yes it is. When she wakes up we'll ask about her name," says Kat.

"Okay, but until then we leave her be," says Sky.

"Agreed," says Kat.
