3rd Person POV

The crew is back on the Waverider with the JSA

"If we're meant to be impressed by all this technology, it has the opposite effect." The brunette, Amaya, says.

"It only makes you that much more dangerous." A man says.

"Well, and there's evidence to support that, but I think what's important now is for all us to stop arguing." Stein says

"Does your team ever stop arguing?" Rex asks

"Fair point." Stein says

"I think what Martin is trying to say is we're gonna help you whether you like it or not." Sara says. "You're going after Krieger. We know where he's going next."

"And given the laws of temporal mechanics, if you die, your grandson ceases to exist." Stein says

"Well, I don't pretend to understand any of this time travel bunk, but these fellas do have a timeship." Steel says. "Might come in handy."

"And having them as our back-up might be the only way to keep them out of trouble." Amaya says.

"Let's put it to a vote, then." Rex says

They put their hands up

"The ayes have it." Rex says

Brooklyn is in a cargo bay

There's a target on the wall

Brooklyn holds her bow up and aimed with her right hand and winces slightly due to the pain in her hand

She had taken her bandage off before they went out of the mission, but the wound was still healing

Brooklyn pulls an arrow out of her quiver and nocks it, shooting it

She misses the target, the whiplash of the arrow being shot hurting her hand

"Ow." Brooklyn hisses, dropping her bow into her left hand and holding her palm to her chest

"You okay?" Jax asks

Brooklyn turns around to see him standing there

"Just...working out some kinks." Brooklyn says, her hand throbbing

"Let me see." Jax says, walking over to her

Brooklyn slowly gives her hand to Jax

He opens her hand to reveal blood

"You opened it up." Jax says

"I noticed." Brooklyn says, trying to pull her hand away

"Let me wrap it up again." Jax says

"I don't wanna go back to the medbay." Brooklyn says

"I knew you wouldn't." Jax says, reaching into his pocket. "I brought some bandages with me."

Jax gently pulls Brooklyn's hand, guiding her to sit down on the floor

Jax sits across from her, wrapping up her palm

Jax sits across from her, wrapping up her palm
