"I've finished assessing Miss Cooper's injuries." Gideon announces to the crew in the medbay. "She has three cracked ribs and a gun shot wound to the side."
Jax stares at Brooklyn's body in disbelief
The questions pile in at the same time
"A gun shot?" Amaya asks
"When did she get shot?" Stein asks
"Jax, did you know about this?" Nate asks
Jax looks up
"No." Jax says
"She always was good at keeping secrets." Ray says, his arms crossed
"Not now, Ray." Sara tells him
"I told you someone was injured." Mick growls to Stein
"You knew?" Amaya asks Mick
"No." Mick says. He reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out Brooklyn's bloody shirt, opening it up. "But I knew this didn't belong to me."
"And you didn't think to tell anyone?" Amaya asks
"Hey, hey, guys." Nate says. "She's waking up."
Brooklyn's eyes open to see the crew in the medbay

She looks around and then sees a drip next to her. Looking around more she notices that the drip is connected to an IV in her arm
Brooklyn's breathing gets rapid as she fumbles to take the IV out
"Hey, woah, I wouldn't do that." Nate tells her
"Please." She gets out to Sara groggily. "I can't have narcotics..."
Sara nods
"Gideon, stop the medicine." Sara orders
"Yes, Captain." Gideon answers
Sara slowly takes the IV out of Brooklyn's skin
"What the hell happened, Brooklyn?" Jax asks her
Brooklyn looks over at him
"Was it from the mission today?" Nate asks
Brooklyn looks over at him, her brain a little slow after waking up. She's trying to process everything but ends up wincing in pain and closing her eyes
Sara notices
"Alright, everyone out. I need to talk to Brooklyn." Sara orders
"But--" Jax tries
"That's an order." Sara tells him
Everyone but Sara leaves the room
The medbay door closes and Sara takes a seat next to Brooklyn on her right side
