Tobias: Yay! An update!

Teresa: I know, it's been so long

Tobias: Too long.

Me: Sorry. I have no excuse.

Marco: You should be sorry! You left them on a cliff-hanger, and not even a good one!

Me: Yeah, this next part really should go at the end of the last chapter. It's also kinda short.

Ax: raises axe-tail (axe-tail, seriously?) What did you say?

Me: Nothing! Anyway, enough stalling. On with the story!

When Tobias, Teresa, and Ax made it to the park, they saw another eevee with particularly long ears, indicating that it must be Marco. He faced away from the three, focused on skipping rocks.

Tobias turned to face his companions. "Ax, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" The pikachu's face remained blank. Tobias rolled his eyes, "Duh, do the thing!"

Ax, who seemed to understand, smiled as he crept towards the unsuspecting eevee.

"What is he gonna do?" Teresa asked.

"You'll see," Tobias said, "It'll be hilarious."

The pair watched as Ax's red cheeks sparked with electricity. He reached out a hand and tapped on Marco's shoulder. There was a small pop as yellow met brown. The eevee jumped, "OOOW! MOTHER FU- oh, it's you." He looked down at his fur, which was now sticking straight out. He hung his head and arched his back in annoyance, "Every flipping time! Why me?" Ax just chuckled.

Meanwhile, Tobias and Teresa were recovering from a fit of laughter. They approached with barely suppressed giggles. Tobias called out to their victim, "Hey Marco! Having a bad fur day, are we?" Teresa couldn't hold in her amusement and was launched into a second round of convulsions. Marco just growled and began smoothing his fur.

When the rogue floof was taken care of, the four played for a long time. They were so caught up with their game of infection tag that they didn't notice the pair of amber eyes watching from the cover of tall grass.

After a while Marco and Ax had to go home, leaving Tobias and Teresa alone in the park. "So... what do ya wanna do now?" Tobias asked.

"I don't know, anything, just as long as it's away from my mom."

"Any particular reason?"

Teresa became nervous. The question was harmless, and she should have seen it coming, so why did it make her queasy? Well, dad said to always trust my gut. She avoided the question by countering with another, "Erm, so I heard you're a prince, what's that about?"

Tobias thought it was odd that she changed the subject but decided not to mention it. "Well, my grandfather is the king, so I am royalty." He said the word royalty with a certain spite, "My mom is third in line after my aunt, making me fourth, so I'm not actually the prince. When Marco found out he started calling me 'Prince Tobias,' and the name stuck." There was an awkward pause as Teresa digested the information.

Tobias broke the silence, "Want me to show you around the forest? I know you're new here." Teresa's eyes lit up. "Yeah, that actually sounds really fun!"

"Okay, follow me." Tobias started north, closely followed by Teresa.

As the two silver foxes ran into the forest, the eyes smiled a devious smirk. The mouth belonging to those orbs of tainted gold spoke, barely audible, "You're mine."

El Gasp! Tobresa has a stalker! Find out what happens next in the next chapter, which should be out within a week, I promise (like that meant anything before lol). Have a good night.

I also need a name for the eyes. Any ideas?
