Sixteen: Lover-boy

"Dude, how do you find the best series to bing?" Cole questions after we finish falk of the first season of All American on stan in one sitting.

"I guess I just have good taste," I say with a shrug of my shoulders, I jump off of my bed and Cole doing the same after me.

"We are doing this again tomorrow," Dylan announces standing up from Corbyn's bed.

"You're gonna have to find another great series to binge after this," Alec says before he head into the bathroom. 

Cole, Dylan and I walk into the kitchen "See ya tomorrow," Dylan says while Cole waves as they leave, I wave to them and close the door behind them. I open up the fridge and grab my drink bottle out, I take a drink before putting it back in the fridge. 

"So how'd things go seeing Mike?" Alec asks as he enters the kitchen.

"Well he woke up," I tell him closing the fridge door and leaning on it, "but he has amnesia."

"So he doesn't remember you?" he asks, I shake my head, "see you tomorrow," he gives me a quick hug before I open the door. I look into the hallway to see Mike standing there with a gold chain dangling from his had.

"Mike," I say his name in surprise, Alec slips out the door past him, "uh, come in."

"Sorry to come here with so warning but I was told I could find you here," he says walking into the kitchen shoving his hands in his pocket.

"No it's okay," I say shutting the door behind him, "what brings you here?"

"I'm trying to remember things," he tells me, "I can remember some bits but I'm still piecing it together, the doctor said talking to people and seeing photos and objects can help me."

"I guess there would be a lot to remember," I say wandering awkwardly.

"Yea," he agrees, "so how did we meet?"

"We were in the same homerooms is high school, I was supposed o be in grade nine but I skipped a few grades," I start."

"You were bullied, you were called a lot of mean things," he continues, maybe he remembers me.

"Yea, but you stood up for me," a smile creeps onto my lips.

"Then Kyle took your side too, then him and Jea got together," he says, he's got some of his memory back.

"They're engaged now."

"How'd he propose?" he asks taking a seat at the kitchen table.

"At the beach," I say as I walk towards the table and take the seat facing him, "at Ridge Cove when went camping."

"Like," he goes to say something but stops himself, "did you go with your family?"

"No, we went with my roommates and a couple mates," I tell him. "What were you going to say?" I ask him hesitantly.

"When?" he replies avoiding the questions.

"Before you asked who came with us."

He looks down and his hands and holds out our engagement ring on my chain, "you left this at the hospital," he says.

I hold the ring in the palm of my hand, "it's your grandma's ring," I tell him.

"No it's not," he argues, "it's not anymore." He puts the chain around my head and looks ar the ring in his hand before lands on my chest. He rests his hand on top of mine, his eyes moves from our hands to lock with mine, "Why," his question gets cut off by a knock on the door.

I stand up and open the door, "Corbyn forgot the key again," Jonah and Zach say in sync.

"I've told you to stop doing this rotation thing and just all take a key," I remind them, they shrug and walk past me into the dorm.

"I should get going," Mike says stopping next to me.

"It was great seeing you again, Mike," I tell him with a genuine smile, he nods with a smile and walks out the door.

"Jacks," he calls out as I start to close the door, so I open it again, "I do remember you."

My smile grows wider, I close the door as he walks away, "so who's lover-boy?" Corbyn asks nibbling on a bag of chips.

I lock the door with the key and turn to face him, "that's Mike."

"Mike's okay?" Zach questions.

"I thought he lost his memory," Jonah states.

"He did," I say, "it seems like he's getting it back though." Someone knocks on the door again, I roll my eyes and unlock the door allowing Jack and Daniel to enter our dorm.

"What's this?" Daniel asks scooping my ring in his hand.

"Looks expensive," Jack comments.

"It's Mike's Grandma's ring," I answer, Jack raises an eyebrow at the mention od Mike, "my engagement ring."

"Mike's memory s coming back," Jonah says.

"And he was just here," Corbyn adds.

"Ohh," Daniel coos, "so how's things going between you two."

"He just came here to talk," I say putting the ring under my shirt, "recover his memory."

"Jea's calling you!" Zach yells from the bedrooms, I walk in and answer the call on my laptop.

"Have you seen Mike?" she asks me the second I answer.

"Yea, why?" I reply.

"He came and saw us, it looks like his memory is coming back," she says.

"He remembers her," Corbyn says resting his head on my shoulder, I roll my eyes she shove him away.

I know it's not centred around WDW but I not as into them anymore but from the start, I kinda knew it wasn't going to be completely focused on WDW. 

So, what do you think?
